Firstly I must say how quickly and efficient this was delivered, less than 36 hours from order to front door is superb. It is heavy as it was 2 x 5 litres. I used this with my Bissell 1225E carpet washer, initially I used Bissell's own double concentrate, whilst it was cheap it did not clean brilliantly, OK yes but some marks were left. I though this must be as good as it gets, as Bissell own shampoo must the best, right? WRONG! I had a look online and this came up with all its great reviews and price I thought I will give it ago, and me and my carpets are so glad I did. The transformation is quite impressive, one room was already cleaned 3 times with the Bissell shampoo and thought that was a good as it gets, however one attempt with the Mylek and I was amazed how dirty the water was. Shampooed the whole house again using the Mylek which has made a massive difference to the carpets despite previously already using the Bissell concentrate. I will give away the Bissell shampoo (to someone I dislike)! I will certainly keep this. I use this in the same ratio as the Bissell stuff, the Bissell was double concentrate and was recommended to use 75ml, for Mylek I used 150ml. This is in a tank of just over 4 litres, thus I would recommend a usage ratio of around 40ml per litre of tap hot water, unless you have very strong stain. Virtually all the small tough stains the Bissell shampoo left behind the Mylek cleaned, plus it also cleaned other dirt the Bissell left behind, the proof was in the dirty water tank. I liked the smell of the spring bloom which lasts until the carpet is dry. It smells as clean as it looks. I have only used 1/3 of the first lot of 5 litres. This shampoo last ages, one 5 litres will be plenty for a 3 bedroom house, with for spares or next year. Only small point is there is no dedicated spout to pour the shampoo and a little runs down the side of the container, maybe a small design improvement is needed, but only a small irritant Overall Bissell carpet cleaner good, Bissell shampoo concentrate not good, Mylek shampoo top grade, im not expert but in carpet cleaning shampoos (thankfully) but I doubt anyone will find much better than this, plus a bonus is a great price. I recommended it 100%

Pros: 1. Citrus smell - refreshing smell for those who like citrus smell 2. Good cleaning power - it cleans my carpets better than another brand I am originally using, I touched the carpet and it feels much cleaner. Not sure if it is good or bad but it produces quite a lot of bubbles in the waste water tank (note: the bubbles aren't on the carpet itself just the waste water) while cleaning so by the looks of it, it looks like it cleans much better! 3. Find the price acceptable for £/ litre. Can last quite a long time for my use case scenario. Cons: 1. Citrus smell - it smells refreshing on its own but if you are going to use it to clean a large area, then you will start to feel like the citrus smell is too much and too strong. If you are someone that doesn't enjoy a quite strong fragrance lasting for about an hour, then don't buy the citrus flavour, but it really depends on the size of the area you are cleaning. 2. As a household user I find it quite difficult to hold the large, heavy 5L bottle and pour the contents into my carpet washer's solution tank. It would be better in terms of design if it allows me to pump it out (like a shampoo/ hand wash). Conclusion: I personally liked the citrus flavour so I bought this, but will try another flavour from this company as even I liked citrus smell, this is a little bit too strong for me after cleaning my entire room. But this is overall a good product so I will buy it again.

I have two small children, a cat and a rug that is a dirt magnet. The combination is fatal! I have Bissell carpet washer for years now and I was happy with it but not overly impressed. Until I found these Mylek carpet shampoos that is. What a difference! While original Bissell carpet shampoo is good it is quite pricey so I was trying conserve it and I guess cleaning quality was compromised. Mylek is so affordable but quality is just as good if not better. It actually removes even stubborn stains like berries, banana, porridges etc. It neutralises spilled potty odours and makes carpet velvety smooth. I am very happy. It makes my life so much easier. I fell in love with my carpet washer again (at one point I was contemplating to get rid of it as it takes up so much space). My carpets look nearly new. Spilled juices don't freak me out anymore. The only minor minus for me is the smell. It doesn't smell like flowers or lemon just like chemicals but I don't care as long as it does such a brilliant job. By the way, I was hesitant to use it with my Bissell washer because instructions said to only use it with Bissell shampoo but I am so glad I tried Mylek. My machine didn't blow up and works just fine.

Right, they say you get what you pay for! Another words the quality of an item can be proportional to it's price. This Mylek ULTIMA just makes a complete 'mockery' of that statement. I read ALL the reviews, yet remained skeptical! Who wouldn't! It just did not appear to make any sense. If you work out the costing of this product against Vax's one carpet cleaner, it's a NO BRAINER. Yet, true to form you are never quite convinced and I have to admit I questioned my 'sanity' about perhaps maybe wasting this ridiculously cheap price for the product or a ridiculously cheap product that DID NOT DO what it said on the tin! Forget it. I would have to eat my hat if I had one. This product is superb, cleaning (I use a VAX Rapide) with every bit of equal efficiency as VAX Ultra or VAX AAA. It beggars belief. How can they do this at the price they sell this at? One fault though with the product, actually it's not the product;s fault, it is this user. FOLLOW the instruction's on the quantity of product to water ratio or you end up with a 'foam bath'! Its not needed. I did the product a 'massive lack of faith' by assuming if you get what you pay for, then I better use more! You don't need to, the product works just perfect at the manufacturers recommended water to product ratio! I'm stunned! I WILL NEVER again pay over the odds for VAX's product when I have this product as a replacement, sorry, perfect replacement. A little 'chemically' smelling, but who cares? That disappears quickly, and I can assure you for the job this stuff has done on my carpets, who cares! Open the windows and it disappears. To be honest the smell is actually 'refreshing' and if you can just accept that the fragrance is just going to be there come what may. again who cares. Burn a few 'smelly' candles if it bothers you that much! What a 'bargain!' No going back, and Mylek can expect regular purchases's from myself personally and my patronage and recommendation to all and sundry! Super fast delivery, well packaged, blah, blah blah..... It's all ben said before, so I won't bother repeating the bleeding obvious. I have no idea what VAX are playing at with their pricing, however with he greatest of respect to them, this is one 'mug' less that will be sucked in to the 'consumer hype' that only recommended VAX product's should be used in VAX machines! Nonsense. Just buy it, and have no qualms whatsoever that you are making the right decision. I have none! Highly highly recommended!

I bought this after reading reviews of how good it was. I liked the fact it was antibacterial and sterilises as we have two cats who often bring stuff in. It doesn't foam which is great for the emptying process but I'm not sure it works as well as the vax shampoo. The water wasn't as dirty as usual, it didn't seem to shampoo up on the carpet, you couldn't really tell it was there, it definitely brings some stuff up but not wholly convinced yet. Smell goes away after 30 minutes too, Vax leaves it smelling lovely for days.

Very impressed with the cleaning capability. Yet to see how quickly the dirt builds up. I think some cleaners leave a residue, but this picks up stains much better than any others I’ve used.

The shampoo was ok the claims about the fragrance in the shampoo didn't notice anything
