Very easy to apply (I hung it over the bath to catch drips) just give item a good soaking and allow to dry. I've done a full length trenchcoat, a goretex jacket, 2 dog coats and still have a fair bit left in the bottle. The trench and the dog coats got tested the day after in heavy rain, fully waterproof having previously been letting moisture in, water beading on the surfaces. Read about the scent in other reviews, I was a bit confused as the product had a very mild 'clean' type smell, certainly not overpowering at all, left the garments smelling generally fresh. All in all very pleased, great value

Good product and easy to use

Bought to waterproof one of my husbands jackets and it works brilliant also has a lovely smell when you are spraying it on the garment,easy to use.

Product arrived well packaged with screw top on bottle and seperate spray part so no leaking. I saw a couple of other reviews about the smell and thought they might be exaggerating, but by jingo they're not! It smells really strong!! I hung my Joules raincoat on the line to air it out after applying and after a whole day out there, it still stinks of flowers and powdery old ladies (sorry old ladies..). The product was super easy to apply however and am now just waiting for the English weather to do it's usual and then I can test it out for waterproofness..

I used this to re-proof my old all weather coat that had begun to leak. A few years previously I had used a wash-in waterproofer that worked quite well but this time around I thought I would give a spray a chance as being possibly quicker and easier. It was! I sprayed the coat in just a few minutes. I did it in my garage as I expected a smell but actually there wasn't much of a smell at all. What odour there was smelt a bit like fabric conditioner. I wore my coat out in the rain and am pleased to report it is now waterproof again.

Used this on a north face jacket that had lost its water resistance. Applied and the beading came back and no more water soak through.Nice and simple but follow the instructions and make sure you do this in a ventilated area.

Perfect to restore waterproofing on a well worn outdoor jacket. Easy to use and very effective. Will be trying it out on a pair of leather boots.

Rubbish. Got one extra wear out of the coat before needing to use the spray again.
