Awesome! But a kilo is more than you think!
So, how much corn is in a bag of microwave popcorn? 100g? 200g? I'm not sure, but I'd bet it's less than 100g, maybe 50... But you get two or three bags for £3 to £4.The reason I Say this is because I poured a good covering of the kernels from this kilo bag into the pan, covering the base (like in the instructions). I covered that base GOOD. There was very little pan visible beneath the layer of kernels.I followed the instructions, and then what happened was I got about triple the amount of popcorn I actually needed! I kept having to take the top off the pan, scoop some out, then put it back on the hob before the popping ejected too much onto the counter top.So it seems that this kilo of popcorn is enough for, 15 to 20 movie nights with 2 or 3 munching popcorn, it's a heck of a lot!And you know what? It makes me realise just what a ripoff cinema popcorn is, compared to this! The kids love the flavour of this popcorn, especially if I melt a little butter in the microwave, then toss it into the pan and shake it to coat the popcorn, just before serving. Yummy! A dash of salt as well, and you have Cinema-quality popcorn in under 5 minutes and a fraction of the price! This is a fantastic purchase, great value for money, and a fab thing to have in the cupboard if you fancy a movie night!I'm amazed that each time *all*of the corn popped too. That tells me it's good quality and evenly prepared... Unlike cheap popcorn where you always end up with many unpopped kernels.

Video demonstration
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this 1 kg of popping popcorn to make my own freshly made popcorn with the Gadgy popcorn making machine, which I was reviewing. The 1 kg of popcorn comes in a resealable bag. I used 75 g of the popping popcorn, 30 mL of extra-virgin oil, 40 g of white granulated sugar and one dessert spoon of caramel sources that can be used with popcorn. I spread the extra-virgin oil on the popcorn tray then the sugar and popping popcorn, And lastly the dessert spoon of either sticky toffee caramel or salted caramel. Once the popping popcorn began to slow down with the pops. I turned off the machine as timing is essential for the perfect popcorn. This popping popcorn came out absolutely perfect and tasted delicious. This popcorn is perfect for a movie night with the family to enjoy freshly cooked popcorn in approximately three minutes. I hope you have found my review helpful.

Lovely corn kernels
Most, if not all of the corn kernels pop out nicely every time. And crunchy too. A good ration of oil-kernels is 2 table spoons of oil (I use coconut oil) and 5 table spoons of the corn, with a teaspoon of Flavacol and you get that cinema popcorn flavour. Mmh lovely. This potion is for one (at least for me!).Trick is to start heating the oil at low-medium heat, add the kernels plus a teaspoon of Flavacol (you can always adjust this to your taste) and then turn up the heat. Leave the lid slightly open to let the steam out when it starts popping (so it does not get soggy and shewy), while giving the pan a gentle shake as they pop. I love to sprinkle some sugar when done, for that salty-sweet taste.

Nice popcorn
These are very healthy and work so well in our machine. The only issue I had with the taste (and it’s not an actual complaint) is that it’s almost TOO healthy tasting 😂😂😂. I had to add a lot of salt myself just to make it taste “cheap”. Great brand will purchase them them again though.

Popping corn
Popped corn in a pan is a personal fave of mine. This pack was of good value so decided to give it a go.They popped with relative ease in a pan. I have tried other brands before where some of the kernels don't pop - presumably because of less than ideal storage conditions. These don't seem to follow the same problem. It comes in a resealable plastic bag - which is handy for storage. Flavorwise - they taste like popcorn, nothing more nothing less. I do think they are slightly more expensive than some other brands on Amazon, but overall still okay value

Good quality product.
4+ stars from me. A bit overpriced for what it is but it gives you the weight and price on the page so I knew the value before I bought it. They didn’t have any at the supermarket so really I paid a bit more for the convenience of having it delivered to my house.Popped it and it was delicious and the kernels look fresh.Good quality product and good quality packaging, comes in a rigid plastic ziplock type bag so the corn doesn’t spill everywhere in the cupboard like it does sometimes in flimsy plastic wrapping.

Not recommended
The media could not be loaded. I was craving for popcorn that is not microwavable then I found this. Arrived promptly however it is not satisfactory for me due to two main reasons. First, it doesn't pop all the way. I have cooked other kernels before using a pot but had excellent results but this one, even trying several times the result is still the same - not fully popped popcorn. There are still small bits of kernels left on it - not a deal breaker but just disappointing. However, the second reason and most important reason is the taste. It does not taste good at all for me. I love popcorn and always had butter popcorn with some salt but this doesn't taste good. Maybe it's an old product? Idk. Anyway, sadly I am just going to finish the item as not to waste money but will definitely not buy again.

Great Buy
I would defo recommend these especially to anyone with children. large 1K pack with long expiry date. They popped so fast! with a little oil in the bottom the pan, very quickly they started popping. My son really enjoyed making them. its an ideal first thing for children to learn to cook. I took the ones that had popped and place them in a bowl, the curnels that hadn't popped I then returned to heat and they popped too. Great for having movie night during Lock down!
