***(UPDATE)*** I have noticed that since I purchased the device, it has been changed - something sellers do to keep the reviews from previous products. Also at the time of my purchase, there had already been different products on this same listing. (It says that this device comes under "Toys"?!). Change it. *** I can honestly say, that, initially, I was somewhat apprehensive & sceptical of the products' claims that boast it's 'premium quality' & 'highly effective', hospital-grade functions... but I was quickly humbled and can say with absolute certainty, that it IS all of those things, and then some!.. I have used and own a couple of EMS devices - to aid in muscle-strengthening, toning & growth, when my Polyarthritis limits my capabilities for an extended period of time and had a totally biased opinion of 'TENS' machines' functional quality - just assuming that it was ineffective 'malarky'... That was, until I actually purchased a new (different) EMS device that also had the additional TENS capabilities/modes, or so I thought... in-fact, it was instead a TENS-oriented device, with a very terrible couple of EMS modes that turned-out to be THE single-most worst EMS function/s I had ever used!.. That being said, the TENS modes on that particular device were SO incredibly effective, that it completely changed my mind about TENS altogether and I swiftly adopted the idea of using that other device solely for the TENS function, only! This left me with the decision to either purchase another EMS-only device, OR get an EMS + TENS machine, that has exceptionally good modes for 'BOTH'... After much contemplation and a few months of research, observations & perceptual changes... I finally decided upon THIS specific device, from 'Med-Fit'. I can hardly express how deeply-appreciative & pleased I am with this product - I am VERY happy with my purchase! This has been, by far, the MOST effective AND efficient EMS device I have EVER used!.. Not to mention the exceptional TENS modes as well! I am so glad I own this PERFECT, 'master' kit; impeccable technical craftsmanship, that is both SAFE, customisable & intuitive - it really is a professional, premium, high-grade product and has an extensive owner's/user's manual, with fully-detailed, descriptive explanations of every conceivable & perceivable aspect of the entire device's capabilities/functions, limits & safety measures/practices... The included double-sided 'placement' poster with more detailed diagrams that show the best sites to apply the electrodes (pads) + the suggested modes & (optional; custom) settings, really sets this apart from the generic & knock-off versions... The user interface (UI) is considerably easy & simple to navigate (once you fully understand and test each of the pre-programmed modes + the customisable modes & settings - for both TENS & EMS; providing a comprehensive and user-friendly selection system that is not overwhelming or complicated. It gives you full-control over the 2-channels that can be individually tunned to a vast array of different settings - whether you wish to use a quick and simple 'pre-set' programme, or have more experience and would like to fine-tune your own custom experience - this is the perfect device to match your strengths & work on your weaknesses! One thing I will say though, is that when you connect your 1, or 2, main wires (by which x2 electrodes (pads) can be connected to EACH of the main [channel] wires... I dread to think how many people struggle to fully insert the electrodes' pins that need to be inserted into the main wires' port/s, because they are VERY, very TIGHT-fitting and require considerable strength/force to be properly connected! Which, on one hand, is a good thing, because it means that they will NEVER have even the slightest possibility of 'falling out' or coming loose... but for those individuals whom do not have the strength, nor someone to assist them with this, it would definitely be a struggle to do so by themselves! The charger really intrigued me, as it consists of a 4-piece system, where you have the choice of a 3-pin UK plug AND 2-pin Euro plug, which can be removed/attached to the main adapter that has a USB slot, where the charging cable is inserted; only thing is, that the charging cable supplied/used, is NOT a USB Type-C Port, it is an older version that phones & cameras used to take - so it is recommended to keep it safe, just in case! I actually purchased a general electronics storage/travel bag that has adjustable dividers and straps, netting, pockets, etc... to store each of the cables/wires and the electrodes, the device and the manuals, neatly and conveniently and it was reasonably cheap but very good quality and perfect to store all the different parts + the extra (larger) electrodes (pads) that I purchased to be used with this device. The pads themselves are very 'sticky', in-fact, these are certainly the most adhesive pads I have come across (MUCH better than the Auvon pads - which keep peeling/falling off on the FIRST use!). These particular pads are so effective at their job, it takes some pulling to remove them once the session is completed! No skin irritation or itchiness and no residue after use; they can be used up to 50x times (each), before needing to be replaced by far, the best-quality pads out there! I only would have hoped that they included some of the 2"x4" pads instead of only 2"x2" ones - the bigger ones I have are the Auvon ones and they're terrible at staying on/in-place! (I wish that I had bigger ones from Med-Fit). The battery capacity is rather impressive! I used the machine for multiple LONG sessions, with relatively high-powered modes + intensities and it lasted for days on end! I have NEVER run out of battery unexpectedly. It takes about 2-hours to charge to a point where it can be used for up to a week+ (solely depending on usage) - so it does have a really decent battery. The device itself is somewhat easily-wieldable - meaning that it sits nicely in the hand, with a perfectly-weighted feel to it and also has a really convenient, handy 'belt-hook' on the reverse of the device (which is pretty sturdy!), so it is highly portable AND can be attached easily to your belt/waistband + it has a safety 'lock' feature - by way of a small, easily-distinguishable red button, so that you don't accidentally press any of the buttons (and also makes it safe to store in your pocket while it operates). I've got to say, that I absolutely love the variety of modes and programmes available to use!.. The ability to use 'custom' modes to fully customise the width + rate + frequency of your most desirable choice/s, is a game-changer that keeps it 'interesting' (in a way) - there is an incredible amount of variety that make sure that it's useable by EVERY single person whom utilises this innovative bit of gear! There really are no bounds, no constraints to who can use it, regardless of ability, strengths, weaknesses, age, fitness, etc... Literally, the most 'complete' all-in-one, one-size-fits-all (conceptually) device that can be used by young, old, post-surgery, recovering, rehabbing, athletic, body-building, beginners, novices, professional, amateur, ANY PERSON, regardless of their 'label' can effectively benefit from the use of this TENS + EMS Machine - it can be gentle AND an absolute POWERHOUSE, with 99-levels of intensity that, at it's maximum capacity, even the most muscular can hardly endure it! And each level is a minor increasement in intensity, whereas on particular devices, whether they have 20 or 99-levels, are totally imbalanced and each increment is an insanely uncomfortable/painful jump - especially at lower levels, which makes them NOT user-friendly or even safe to use by most, but THIS specific device is carefully curated and masterfully produced to be suitable for ALL ability levels... This is why I rate it 5*-stars!

At £23.00 this is a great EMS machine. In my opinion it's the best in its price range and out performs many more expensive machines. At under thirty quid delivered it's unbelievably good value. It has two channels each powering two electrodes (so you can use up to four electrode pads). I've pasted the specs below because they don't appear on the Amazon site. Whether you are muscle building or reviving injured or wasting muscle groups, this is well worth a try. It also comes with a booklet which recommends where to place the electrodes. I found experimenting on myself the best way to get going. With practice you can get the electrodes on in under two minutes and you can get them off in the same time. You can clip the machine easily to trouser tops and move around pretty well while shocking yourself; it's a good machine and the service from Medfit and Amazon was excellent. Finally you can buy new Medfit electrode pads from Amazon. For me, they need replacing every two weeks if you are using the machine every day. Machine seems to work well for EMS but TENS not tried. Product is of good quality and is easy to use and comes with spare pads which is better than some competitors

I love items that just do what they say they do and this product definitely does and MORE. It comes in a neat plastic carry case, is easy to use, has plenty of pads in two different shapes (large and small), comes with detailed instructions on how to use and where to place the pads, has different settings for pain relief, relaxation, and muscle toning. It even has a UK telephone number to call and email address. Don't be fooled by other models that may be cheaper like I was - this is a great product and value for money.

After bad fall from my horse landing onto my left seatbone I have spent 2 years with the pain in my hip getting worse and causing limping. Eventually went to Dr who sent me for x-ray and told I would have to have a hip replacement as I had osteoarthritis. Physio at hospital made everything much worse. Eventually a combo of a good chiropractor, the CORRECT exercise that allowed whatever was out of syn to 'twang' back into place and finally the purchase and twice a week use of this little machine in an effort to re awaken and build the muscle around my left hip(and believe me I could FEEL it was targetting my muscles correctly) I am back to normal and my left leg and hip (which appeared NOT to part of my body in recent months) are now back to normal and at last my left leg and hip are now in sync with the rest of my body again. Pain gone, limp gone.....all good. Great little machine and the final bit of help I needed. Thank you.

I am using the muscle rehabilitation programs to develop wasted muscle, combined with strength excercises.. I have used a few machines before including a Compex and the physio dept machines . I got this today and so far it has exceeded my expectations. Easy to use 2 goodmanuals ,uses 9v batteries (2 included)can send a powerful pulse. So far using rehab modes 1-4 and taking it easy. Plenty of good quality pads (8)in the case. I see that I can modify the pulse frequency / width and ramp up times if needed , I will stick to the default settings for few weeks until I can buildup a little muscle. I would like 4 channels bu at this price I can buy another. I am interested to see how long the battery will last. so far delighted.

Bought this to support recovery from an ACL injury after it came recommended. Was an important part of my recovery for a 2 weeks or so until now one of the ports doesn't work, making the device half as effective. Very disappointed by this and expect to hear from the seller to resolve the matter.
