The recommendation is that these be used every thirty cups or so, but given that I'd had my machine for several years with no noticeable deterioration in delivery of the drink, I won't be doing this.I bought a box of five capsules that came with a comprehensive multi-language instruction leaflet. There are several safety warnings about handling the capsules. Make sure the water tank is full, as you will need a lot of water.They are used just in the same way as a standard capsule, with the difference that the button for an espresso is pressed first, to deliver a foaming cup of cleaning liquid.After waiting for one minute, the lungo button is pressed, then the used capsule is dropped in to the capsule container like any other. I used the used cleaning liquid dispensed by the machine to clean two stained cups before pouring it down the sink, it worked beautifully.You will then need to repeatedly flush the machine by running it without a capsule in. Even after dispensing some 400 ml of water a cup of fruit tea had a slight white film. The taste wasn't affected, but do be aware.I haven't noticed any positive or negative changes in flavour or dispensing speed.I followed the instructions and cleaned the used capsule container carefully afterwards, disposing of the capsule carefully.I'll use up the box of capsules I bought, but I'm not in a hurry to use the next one.

Used a Caffenu Cleaning Capsule for the first time in my Sage Creatista Pro, with no issues. I cannot determine whether the coffee is improved as a result (I am a light user, anyway). However, it's good to know that the pod chamber and associated equipment has been cleaned. I used the jugful of expended solution to wash-out the drip tray and other removable parts and all appears a lot cleaner. I'm going to use the Caffenu Cleaning Capsules once every calendar month.

Item arrived promptly, but it did not improve the flow of my Nespresso machine as much as I had hoped.

My nespresso machine was leaking water and overfilling the drip tray. Thought machine may be done for. Found these after some research and thought I’d try them out. Worked really well with the first pod and unclogged the machine. Now coffee is being made properly and water no longer leaking.

Was expensive but very easy to use after one capsule machine working beautifully

My Nespresso expert was sending coffee into the drip tray every coffee, even with de-scaling, I'd had it a while so before having to bite the bullet for a new machine I bought these, 3 capsules blocked the machine's spout, BUT turned it upside down, took the spout cover off, used a paper clip to unblock the nozzles (there are 4 separate holes in the 1 spout) then ran a descale process. literally looked like 2 jugs of old coffee came out. ran the other 2 capsules after, its running like Brand new.the only slight annoying thing for this coffee machine with these, is that the expert auto ejects the capsules, and they are pretty damaged when you need to put them back in for the longer clean shot, but worked well so not a huge complaint.

I was about to throw out my machine as the coffees tasted so weak and what came out resembled wee wee usually.I tried the descale a few times and it didn't work.I then tried this and it really cleaned out the chamber thoroughly and we are now back to excellent tasting coffee.Definitely worth a go, even to use once every 6 months. At £1 a capsule it's worth it, and I noticed more of an improvement with this than the descale liquid.
