You can't really go wrong with Belkin. All their products that I've used are great. This plugged in straight to my lightweight ethernet-lackong laptop, since I needed a cable connection instead of WiFi for game streaming with Nvidia Geforce Now. It installed and worked automatically on Windows 10. This is one of the adapters recommended by Nvidia. I can definitely recommend it. Saw great performance increase and connection stability, compared to even 5Ghz WiFi (laptop was next to router).

I waited 4 months for this product to be delivered and finally when I have it I can say it is an excellent product. Build quality is very good. I just plugged in to my MacBook Pro and get connected instantly. Speed tested with local ISP and get about 910 Mbps for download and 492 Mbps upload (limited by ISP). It gets a bit warm and does not have any activity lights like other adapters but those does not matter too much. Reliability and speed are more important.

My old adapter stopped working, so I went foe this one since they also sell it on the apple website. Works fine so far, had it for a month

My work laptop doesn’t have an RJ45 port so I got this adaptor. Quick, easy and futz free. Perfect and a lot faster than my home Wi-Fi 👍

I have couple of cheaper hdmi adapter. But they will get warm up after a while in use and I do get some video lag. I’m so fussy. U don’t learn perfection (vision or audio) that who I am. So I decide to go for this adapter. 1st impression - picture quality is smoother sharper and colour improved no more lagging videos. Just make sure u use with high end 4k hdmi certified cable.

Works great with a Lenovo Yoga, with laptops having fewer ports built on, “dongles” are being needed more and more, I know there are several on the market, most of the brands I have never heard of and I’m sure they work just as well, but for around the same price you can get a brand that is well established and reliable. Works great.

Works great. It does get hot at times though. Same quality as the one made by Apple.

Dico, funziona davvero perché non è così scontato con questi adattatori. Il 99% di quelli cinesi/Amazon alla fine non danno realmente tutto quello che ti aspetta. Questo sì: 4K/UHD 60Hz + HDR/Dolby Vision + DRM. E' esattamente lo stesso della versione bianca venduta da Apple col suo logo e a prezzo più alto (c'è scritto nel documento di Belkin con la lista dei rebranding, quindi è fuori di dubbio). Comunque confermo che con MacBook Pro 16 va e passa HDR sulla TV. Per un vero test Dolby Vision tocca aspettare il prossimo MacOS X, però se nel suo store Apple dice che è Dolby Vision compatible, non vedo perché non credergli.

A lot of products are advertised on amazon that say they can project macbook pro into external monitor. Please don't buy the cheaper options. They simply do not work effectively. The Belkin product works seamlessly with external monitor. There is no drop in quality, which is the problem with other cheaper versions
