There are lots to say about this puzzle.Firstly Ravensburger make excellent quality puzzles and this one is no different. But they are not quite as good as Schmidt which I think have the edge on the whole market.Quality - this puzzle is made with beautifully thick sturdy card and has excellent interlocking lugs which do not come apart easily (in fact it’s just taken me 20 minutes to painstaking take the puzzle apart for re-boxing!) The lugs are a snug fit and there’s so much variety in the shape of pieces and size of puzzle lugs that it’s very easy to know when a piece is right or not. The picture colour is vibrant and bright but there’s no gloss coating... In fact it has an anti-glare quality so it can be worked from all angles even with an overhead direct light-source. On the not so great side, the puzzle had two pieces where the picture paper was a little unglued from the lug, there were 4 (or so) pieces not fully die-cut causing a bit of blue paper that needed tearing out of the lug gap and there was rather more puzzle ‘lint’ in the box than the manufacturer would suggest, none of which warrant any loss of stars in my mind.The puzzle itself arrived with exactly the right 1000 pieces and I’ve never had any issues with ravensburger missing (or having extra) pieces, unlike other manufacturers.This particular puzzle is less challenging to complete than most, possibly because the subject matter is so distinctive and identifiable. But that makes it a great puzzle for all the family to enjoy. The adults can sort the pieces into groups and the children can set off putting together the little cameo pieces while the adults and older children do the larger panels. The only slight challenge was working out the two sections for the lion king and jungle book as the colourways and styling was similar but I still wouldn’t say it was in anyway difficult. The biggest difficulty is sifting the volume of pieces, not assembling them.The edges/frame itself is two rows of puzzle pieces deep and the most helpful and perhaps extraordinary tip I can offer is pick these all out and set them aside til last. I ALWAYS start a new puzzle with the straight edges and work in, this puzzle quite uniquely is one where you really have to start in the centre and work out to keep it manageable. I found the boarder I did first just got totally in the way and wish I’d been advised to work middle-out.Hope this review helps. I haven't competed a jigsaw in maybe 10 years, but had an itch to do one over the xmas period. No one got me one as a present, so I bought this one for myself. It was money well spent!I consider myself a beginner, purely because I haven't done a jigsaw in so long, but I competed this in under 2 days. There is so much going on, it makes it easy to sort and define pieces, ready for piecing them together.The final jigsaw was stunning to look at, great, vibrant colours and a lovely composition.I would recommend this to anyone, but if you're looking for a challenge, maybe this isn't the puzzle for you. I'm exited to try out more jigsaws in the coming year!The pieces themselves are well cut, fairly sturdy, but as they are not wooden, could be easily damaged in the wrong hands. Overall I was very satisfied with my jigsaw experience.

Fabulous puzzle, great fun, apart from the fact I have been given one of the wrong pieces and now it will never be complete. A lovely puzzle that I will never have the joy of finishing, to say I'm heartbroken would be an understatement, completely inconsolable. I hoped it wasn't true, my error perhaps, but to no avail, as I have a spare part, one that does not fit, one that will never fit, another tradgedy in this tale. Buy the puzzle, enjoy the puzzle, but be prepared, for you may never finish it. 😭

This is definitely one for dedicated jigsaw enthusiasts. Quite difficult to proceed the usual way i.e. via the edge first. So did the middle part and then the edge . Very challenging but looks lovely when finished. Bright colours and format. Usual Ravensburger quality. All pieces fit together well, I only went wrong at the very end when I put one piece in the wrong place at the edge. Easily done with all the pattern being the same all the way round. Very enjoyable and would recommend to those who love a challenge.

The puzzle is really amazing quality. I cannot fault the way it goes together and how nicely the pieces feel.But sadly my brand new sealed puzzle was missing 2 pieces. I wanted to frame this for my children’s room but sadly I cannot do this.It baffles me how a brand new puzzle can miss 2 pieces.But the puzzle itself is beautiful and wonderful to complete.

Great Disney themed puzzle that was both fun and challenging for the whole family to do.

This puzzle was really really fun to put together the picture with all that gold made me think it was going to be really challenging and the edging was to put together but for the most of it it was not as challenging as I thought but I have done a fair few Disney puzzles now so maybe I am getting better at putting them together. This one has lots of favourite Disney characters from your princesses to your animals and as always with a ravensburger puzzle it is very durable and can be done time and time again with little wear and tear just as I have enjoyed redoing many of mine especially this one. I hope you enjoy what I found to be Disney's best puzzle yet.
