This lovely little pan works beautifully, the size is as described and just what I needed for frying small amounts of food. I was used to feed the family and found myself cooking more than I needed - and too often eating it all! So this solves that little problem and I think it very pretty and useful with it's heatproof serving board. One egg, fish cake, small steak, beefburger - also good to cook a single yorkshire pudding as it works much better than most pans in the oven. Haven't cooked bread yet, but feel sure it will do that too. Delighted.

When we got these, they were great. Bought three for cauliflower cheese at Christmas and they worked well. But. After washing by hand a d leaving to dry, they go rusty! Not sure they can be used again. Avoid.

I got this basically to toast spices in and when it arrived - after the courier left it in next door's garden even though my porch light was on! - it was already rusty in places and there was no care leaflet enclosed although on the back of the box is says to refer to it!!. But, after checking on line, I washed and dried it on the hob for a few minutes and then oiled it with vegetable oil and put it in a hot oven for about 20 mins. For the benefit of other people who, like me didn't get a care leaflet you have to oil it all over and then put it in the oven upside down at about 180c. After it had cooled down I repeated the process and it seems to have worked because I have used it a few times since and I can fry a single egg in it without any oil and it doesn't stick. I've cooked a burger and some sausages without any oil and they didn't stick either. I just wipe it out with kitchen paper after use, I don't think you should wash it in soapy water. However, I am quite pleased with it although initially it is rather high maintenance for a tiny pan but if you are prepared to put a little bit of effort you could end up with a nice useful little pan. The wooden stand is OK too. I put a bit of mineral oil on it and it brings out the grain.

This was smaller than I hoped when it arrived but it is a great small pan. Makes great two egg omelette. I did oven treat it before use with another larger pan and this small one is the better of the two. Non stick, cleans very easily, great buy

I just want to remind anyone who buys this frying pan that it is cast iron. This means it needs to be seasoned or it will like rust/turn orange like the other reviews say. It’s a bit of a commitment to do this, so if you aren’t into the faff, then skip it. If you’re interested, then pop onto YouTube and learn how to do it. You’re welcome. It is an adorable pan with so many uses from puddings, potatoes and fried eggs. I’m buying a second one.

Article reçu rapidement et très bien emballé Cette petite poêle est trop mignonne 🥹 Elle est parfaite pour des petits mangeur et faire cuire des petites portions (œufs, steak végétarien,…) Le plus important car il s’agit d’un article en fonte est de la chemiser pour lui donner une couche de protection pour éviter qu’elle ne rouille avec le temps. Vous trouverez facilement comment le faire sur internet c’est très facile et pas cher.
