This product has honestly changed my life.Due to a hormone imbalance for the last 8-10 years I have been shaving my facial hair once, twice sometimes 3 times a day.I have tried all sorts of treatments from privately paid for electrolysis, to NHS hospital laser treatment, light treatment not to mention various medications. This is not the normal pale soft moustache hair I am talking about coarse often dark stubble a male model would be proud of.Unless you experience this yourself you will never know how it feels for a woman to have to do this.I used to love my husband stroking my face but have spent years now squirming away from him if he did this first thing in the morning or if I wasn't sure if there had been any growth during the day I had not had chance to deal with. I would not go anywhere without a disposable razor including smuggling them onto long haul flights - seriously there are adolescent boys who'd kill for this facial hair growth.This product is far from painless (as alleged by someone with clearly no facial nerves) and takes some getting used to. I spent about 2 hours for the first couple of days fiddling with it when watching the TV in the evening but eventually rid myself of all the hair at different levels of growth. A week later I have not had to put a razor to my face and my skin is thanking me for it!Usage wise… It is like a mass plucking I guess and feels like lots of short sharp stings. You’ll find a way that suits you, your hair type and facial shape – don’t be afraid to use it in different shapes than the advised ‘inverted ‘u’ and roll it in different ways.I am still trying to brave using this on my upper lip (which is way more sensitive but which was never as bad as my chin and neck growth thankfully) but I am beginning to stop flinching every time my husband goes to touch my face – tough habit to break but it will be worth it!Thank you R.E.M. a million times more effective than treatments that have cost me hundreds more!

Ok - so I was on Amazon looking for something to help remove facial hair and found this item with masses of rave reviews. I then realised I was on the US site instead of the UK. There were only about 4 reviews on the UK site but as the US site was so effusive in their praise I decided to give it a try.Now I had no hair issues at all on the face and neck until I hit 40. Since then I suddenly started sprouting coarse dark hairs on upper lip and chin and also finer blonder hairs.I had read a few reviews on this item on the US site, including some top tips about how to use it.I took it out of the packet, made an upside down U shape, placed it against my top lip and then twirled the two ends outwards. OMG - it worked like a dream. Now it isn't painless. you can't expect it to be pain free. There are a few 'jumpy' moments but it removes more hair than I ever thought I had! It is also easy to do without a mirror.If you want it to be virtually pain free I suggest sitting on the sofa, stick on a box set, drink a couple of glasses/bottles of wine and then let rip (sipping more wine in between goes). You can do this for 2 mins each evening and no more unsightly hairs.I highly recommend this - one of the simplest yet most effective thing I have ever used.

Preferred other methods, very painful personally, very fiddly, prefer the lilybeth, a lot of money for the hassle for me

This is my second purchase as my original, bought 4 years ago, seems to have lost it’s effectiveness. I have fine downy facial hair, and this does remove it - just a matter of technique. I also have fair sensitive skin. Using it hurts like hell, but I have found that if you use a numbing cream, such as used prior to tattoos or injecting medication, it does take the edge off it. Yes, I do sometimes get some spots, but I get that with any type of hair removal. I’ve also used facial hair removing cream, but unless I leave it on for longer than the recommended time, it is ineffective, and then leaves my skin red and dry. Also, I am left with stubble within a few days. I have a bad reaction to waxing, and the home waxing strips do not seem to remove the downy hair. This is the most effective and quicker than tweezers, which also struggle to pick up the downy hair.

Didn't really work for me. Pulls out hairs if they are long, like on your arms, but there is no way I can let my facial hair grow that long without people pointing and staring.....oh well, back to the drawing board

I love this little tool. Saves me money at the browbar now that I can do my upper lip at home. It is painful as hell, but if you roll it in one smooth motion it feels more like a pinch. Give it time to get use to the 'pinch'. This lives in my makeup bag. Comes in a nice velvet sleeve to keep it clean. Great results.

I have been using this product for years and it has never disappointed me. Before I started using it I had tried many other ways of removing chin and upper lip hair and they never did the job as expected. It1s easy to use, painless and fast. I definitely recommend, you won`t be disappointed.

gets only rid of 'peach fuzz'... it's good for that though. oleoleoleeee ole olee ole ole oleeee ole.
