I have bought Blinc for a while now but the usual place I buy from couldn't dispatch in time, so I tried the reformulated version of this. I love it. Blinc was great, but towards the end of the day I found it was flaking. This doesn't look great, but more importantly it meant that my lenses were becoming unbearably uncomfortable by about 7pm and I had to take them out every evening. Cruelty free is very important to me so I came to Amazon to buy the Blinc one through them and happened on this which was also cruelty free, and the tubing type which I've discovered I prefer to normal. I thought I'd give it a go and I'm really pleased I did. This stuff doesn't flake *at all*, and it goes on beautifully. This was the other issue I had with Blinc, that it seemed very dry after only 3 or 4 weeks. I've used this for a month now and it's still going on really well. It's also cheaper, so really what's not to like! In short, if you wear lenses definitely get this over Blinc. I've taken off a star on the easy to remove bit because this stuff stays put unless you (gently) work at it with warm water and pressure. This is a plus point I think as it means it won't come off if you just rub your eyes without water, but it's definitely not your normal 'give it a quick wipe and it's gone' mascara.

Described as smudgeproof and clump free. Worse still it's not eligible for Return so a waste of £19!

I bought this mascara after much reviewing for the best smudeproof formula & this mascara, I have to say, has been the best I have ever had for that! It really does stay put with no panda eyes whatsoever. So I was really pleased on that front. But would I buy it again? Sadly not I'm afraid! I was so disappointed that I would be having to apply goodness knows how many coats to get any kind of definition, length or thickness or volume to my lashes (& even then I still dont get the big eyes I like) It just doesn't go to the end of my lashes at all well & just leaves them looking clumpy because of having to put so many coats on. It's even harder to apply to my bottom lashes & doesn't want to stay there when I'm applying it. My lashes aren't that short particularly, but are quite fair, so mascara is a nessecity to bring my eyes to life. If time is tight, it is frustrating that it takes so long to get the result I'm after. So sadly I wont be buying again I'm afraid which massively dissapoints me as I really thought after a bit of working out how to apply it properly to get the look I like I'd be a big fan. Hence why the 3 stars. That's purely for the smudeproof formula but not for overall effect & ease to apply.

Great product. Waterproof indeed - after application, I rubbed my face in the water, and had no 'panda eyes' whatsoever. I'm happy as I specifically bought this product for my holidays by the sea. It is definitely smudge- and flake-proof, with a 'clean' and lengthening effect on the lashes. This mascara definitely makes them pretty. My only 'let down' would be that the mascara does not make the lashes extremely voluminous or 'thick', which is what I'm used to with my other mascaras - but the product was not explicitly supposed to do this anyway, so I can't really hold that against the manufacturers. I'm pretty impressed with the lengthening effect.

It really is smudge proof, flake proof and water proof. It will flake a little after having slept in it tho. Then it lasts the whole of the next day too. It stays put literally all day. The area below your eye stays spotlessly clean, no smears under the eyes. In addition this mascara adds length and really opens the eyes. And finally, this mascara really coats the bottom lashes beautifully. My hunt is over. I'll never use another mascara unless they change this formula. PS. It's a really intense black too. I just love it!

Very disappointed in this mascara. I tried to give it a good try for a few days. Not only did my lashes not appear any longer or thicker. Applying more than one coat made it very clumpy and spidery. It doesn't smudge, but it will flake. My (not usually sensitive) eyes were irritated after wearing it a few hours. Taking this off was a nightmare. I have tried water, hot cloth cream cleanser and oil based cleanser. It takes rigorous rubbing and pulling to shift it. It left me with lashes missing and sore lids from the removal process. My eyelashes are in a far worse state than if I had never bought this. The only points it deserves are for being vegan and cruelty free. I don't understand the positive reviews. Was I given a non-genuine or stale product? Buyers beware.
