We purchased ours just before December 2017 for our two cats. It is still as good as new. Such good value, I can not recommend this item enough.

Hi, that wouldn't work. It would be very unstable and the top one would fall off. The only way I would have thought is if you secured them to the wall.

Is this suitable for an outdoor run?

Maybe during dry weather, I'd worry about it getting damp as it's cardboard. If it's in an outdoor cattery possibly in the indoor section, I don't know. They are fab though. We have one and one of the other style and my two British adore them, bought one as gift also, they are used and loved everyday, fabulous kitty purchase. Sorry couldn't help with your question.
