This is a great mat for repotting or avoiding making a mess with soil/gardening materials. It is not as thick as I thought from the pictures but it is sturdy and I have not had any issues. It is easy to unbutton and dump any extra material out and can be folded down pretty small to store. I have used it multiple times since purchasing it so I would say it’s a good item to have to avoid mess and experiment with how you want your plants to look.

The inevitable mess with repotting plants is now a non-issue with these mats. Assembly is easy as the corners snap together to create a contained area for dirt and potting mix. They said the material lace flat. I’m unsure of the material, but I believe it’s a tarp-like material with some reinforcements inside. They clean easily and fold up nicely. The green color contrasts the dirt well. Sizing is good for a few small pots or one medium sized pot. We use them indoors and outdoors.

Perfect for my needs. I got the small plant repotting mat, and it's just the right size. Once I snapped the corners, the base area is 16 x 16 inches, which fits my work table. The snaps work and seem sturdy. I plan to keep the corners snapped all the time. It comes with an 18 inch green velcro strip that I can use to roll up the mat and hold it when not using it. I recommend this mat to anyone who likes to mess around with houseplants but doesn't want to make a big mess of everything else.

Its a cheap little tarp held together with velcro but it works for my inside planting. I have not dumped water on it so I am not sure if it leaks or not. It is just a tarp, so it may repel water. I wouldnt let the water just sit on there I would wipe up quickly. I have used it to replant and start seeding. I didnt want the dirt to get all over the place.

This is such a great idea. It’s very easy to use. And when you’re letting a seven-year-old fill pots with potting soil, but it’s too hot to go outside. This is an excellent alternative. Great for grandma and granddaughter.

I like to do my planting on my back porch. This mat will be ideal for me. I try not to be messy, but it always seems to happen. I'm eager to use this mat. The weather here has been cold and rainy, so once it warms up, I will be using this mat. I snapped together the corners, and it was easy peasy. Between the corners and the sides, no dirt should escape. The mat was easy to undo and folded up nicely. I also received a band to put around the mat so the mat stays folded for storage. This mat came at a great price.

Got this for my wife who has been into house plants for a year or so now. She told me recently it was one of the best small gifts I'd given her as it stores in a super small space and allows her to quickly repot a plant inside when we have bad weather etc, without making a mess! Super easy to use and very affordable.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Perfect for all the indoor potting that happens in my house. Now the mess is contained to the tarp. Easy to dump outside and to wipe with a paper towel.
