Excellent product
When our previous Kenwood glass blender gave up the ghost we decided to replace it with a Kenwood plastic one. Big mistake. Having persevered with it for about 6 months we decided to order this. The blender is very sturdy and quite heavy but there is no task it can't complete. The plastic blender was not capable of making breadcrumbs from stale baguette bread, no matter how long you left it in there. With this blender good crumbs were made in seconds. It is excellent at blending soups but it also copes well with dry ingredients. Its large capacity makes it ideal for blending large quantities and it makes light work of it. It comes apart easily which makes it easy to wash. On top of all that the Amazon price was a good one and it came with free delivery. An ideal attachment for our Kenwoos Major. I would recommend it.

Good quality, works well, rather heavy!
I wanted a replacement for the original glass blender attachment, and this seemed to be the one. It is good quality, works well, and is easy to clean. I like the dangly thing which allows you to "stir" the contents during blending, it is really useful when reducing crusts to breadcrumbs etc.The blender is made of thick glass, and is very large. This means that it is quite heavy. If you have slender wrists (like my other half), you may prefer the plastic version. On the plus side, it will take a fair sized pot of soup in one go!

Decent, would buy again
- held up so far- the bottom comes apart and results in what is essentially a big glass cylinder which is quite easy to clean- there is a gutter just beneath the blades where things can get trapped in a more solid mixture- no faults, as expected so far

Substantial kit.
Tried it out yesterday to whizz my mushroom soup. Being glass, it took the hot soup no problem. Worked well on pulse. I like the weight, although a little heavy, It is substantial. Very easy to clean, blade part removable.

Excellent blender!
Very happy with this large blender attachment for my chef. It is heavy and I am quite short so wondered if I would be able to lift it when full, but I managed fine. I found it easy to attach remove. Like all the accessories for the chef it is quite expensive but it is very good quality and surprise you have had you pay for!

Strong equipment
Very effective, strong, large capacity heatproof glass jug,I have a glass liquidiser from a previous Kenwood Chef ,it does not fit my Major ,therefore thrilled to be able to purchase this model , I can use with hot liquids, grind sugar,Coffee beans, ice, much stronger than the plastic style goblet. Very pleased withproduct

Good gift
Good value for money as I bought it on discount. Bought as a gift for my sister who has the whole machine. She loved it. The glass makes it rather heavy though

Essentially the same as the one my mother had 50 years ago.
The requirements for a Kenwood blender attachment haven't really changed over the decades. This one seems to do everything that my mother's one used to do. (Hers didn't have the stir stick, which is a useful new feature.)It is certainly easier to clean, because it can be more completely dismantled, which makes it easier to get to the blades. The lid is a bit awkward to remove. Has this design been found to be more reliable than the old twist-type fitting?
