Better than Casablanca
This is the best tape. This tape held polythene sheeting up covering the walls of our hourse for 5 months, then came offf the paint without leaving a mark, i use iit when i paint, perfect edges, 3d printing as many have mentioned, perfect (though the 600mm wide roll is better, it holds cardboard boxes together when they ripit stopped cement from taking the finsh off a wooden floor when a wheelbarrow spilled, only the area that had been taped for a job latert that day didnt have the varnish stripped the only thing is the peince, but at the end of the day, no other tape even vaguely compares to how well this performs, I've tried other big brands as my local shops dont stock this, and standard unbranded masking tape is a different thing, you cant compare them. If they still made vcrs, i'd bet you could put a roll of this in and it would play your favourite film, but all of your favourite actors would be in it, and you'd turn around and someone would have silently brought you a craft beer, a glass of expensive wine, and a cocktail, and whichever one you drank (all 3 be honest), they'd be the best you'd ever had, then you'd wake up with no hangover. Thats how good this tape is. That film with Jack Black And Mos Def where they have to remake all the films, they should have just given them rolls and rolls of this, i googled it, "Be kind, Rewind"

Most reliable masking tape, and trusted bed material for us 'makers'.
This is the 'daddy' of all masking tapes. A perfect cross between your conventional masking tape and a post-it note. This tape is perfect for all your masking needs, and is an extremely useful bit of kit for all us 'makers'. Unlike most masking tapes on the market, this will not leave ANY residue (guaranteed for up to 14 days). I tested it by keeping it applied for a month straight, and still no residue ! It also doesn't rip apart like most other masking tapes. I use this mainly for lining my 3D Printer's bed and find it very effective on PLA, ABS, PETG and NinjaFlex; not tried Nylon yet, but the odds are it'll work ok with that too. Note that using this tape on a printer bed will give your object a 'matt' finish on the bottom rather than the gloss finish one can expect from printing directly on the printer bed.

Perfect for the print bed of my DaVinci Junior 3D printer.
I purchased a roll of this for my 3D printer as it was recommended by others. I own the XYZ printing DaVinci Junior 3D printer which requires a square piece of adhesive paper tape to be fitted to the print bed, although you receive 3 of these with the printer, they don't last long and are extremely expensive to replace (If you can get them) I paid around £2.50 each for spares? I found some reviews on the internet that recommended using Masking tape, as this is all the square pieces of adhesive paper tape were, this led me to the ScotchBlue Painters Tape. This stuff is great, it's stronger than I could have hoped for and does the job better than the square pieces of adhesive paper tape supplied with the DaVinci Junior 3D printer. If you are looking for 3D printer Bed Tape, you honestly can't go wrong with this.

Despite being easy to use
Mmmm...not sure about this one. Despite being easy to use, and despite being really firmly stuck into all the 'wobbly' bits, although I was extremely careful when painting along the taped edges, paint still oozed under in places. I also found that the tape needed to be removed - very carefully - immediately the painting was finished, not waiting for it to dry. I have to say that it was easier to use than regular masking tape, but I was just thankful that I was using F&B paint and not some thick acrylic paint.

This really was excellent, I used it on gloss as well as ...
I didn't know about this product until i started googling, figuring there must be a form of masking tape that really could be used on finished (painted/varnished) services - and sure enough this is IT. This really was excellent, I used it on gloss as well as matte paintwork, and on polished timber floors. It DID seem to take a couple of spots of the polished paintwork off - about which i was surprised, but after that I just took a little more care with removing it and there was no repetition of the problem. Here's a pic of how i used it. When i was putting it up i was worried that it wouldn't be sticky enough to hold up the plastic, but there was no problem at all - it lasted the whole job and then came off easily and safely. This stuff is far superior to conventional masking tape if you are working on finished surfaces.

The bees knees for 3d's
As noted by others, this is excellent stuff for 3D printers and it lasts a long time. It provides just enough grip to keep the object on the build table successfully. I have tried many alternate methods of holding down PLA prints and this is consistently the optimum solution. It lasts a long time, however it is expensive stuff. Nevertheless it is highly recommended by me and others and pays for itself by saving hassle. My time (and material) is worth significantly more that the cost of a metre or so of this tape which is what it takes to cover the build platform on the 3D printer. Of course it cannot improve a misaligned or distorted surface. Don't think, just buy it and get back to making things reliably. Good job 3M (but did you get here by luck or judgment?).

Need an affordable tape?
Not as good as 3M as far as 'adhesion' is concerned but 3M is really expensive and this is not. Gets the job done ok so would recommend.

Great for 3D printing
Works great as a 3D printing surface. I'd recommend the 48mm width if you have a 200mm bed as it only requires 4 strips of tape to cover the printable area, making it really quick to replace and if it gets damaged you may only need to replace a couple of strips. I'd previously used the 24mm because it was cheaper but it required 8 strips of tape each time and usually required replacing 3+ strips when damaged so I'd say while the 24mm is cheaper the 48mm works out much more cost effective when replacing.

Perfecta!!!
