How does this compare to Naked Whey's vanilla whey protein?

My two cents - Naked whey is sourced from a semi-accreditated grass-fed farm in CA. That's the biggest difference. New Zealand as a "selling point" doesn't hold for me; let me explain - #1 Fonterra is the largest commercial dairy exporter globally; they supply China and prioritize stability more so than anything else (shipping and shelf life). As a matter of fact, their dairy standards have adopted those commensurate with Chinese importation laws. #2 You won't find any details or accreditations on claims made by brands that source from NZ. The answer about sourcing or processing is always the same - It's from NZ, NZ is amazing." The reality is, I haven't found a protein the claims to source from New Zealand that has any details on how the product is processed. Fonterra utilizes a process called UHT-ST (ultra-high-temp-short-time) pasteurization to maximize stability and optimize the production lines. In others words, protein powder, unless accredited by a known 3rd party regulator, is cooked to 400DegF. #3If Antler Farms can provide the "grass-fed" certification from a recognized accreditor, wonderful; otherwise, it's tough to think this whey is different from the other NZ brands popping up daily on my feed.

It is cheaper for them to add amino acids than it is to have high dietary protein content - protein that is within the whey itself. If there is, that company is engaging in amino acid spiking.Independent lab tests by Labdoor found that out of 77 popular protein powders, 52% of products contained measurable amounts of free-form amino acids - ie., amino acid spiking. Asparagine was the most commonly spiked amino acid (15/77 products), followed by alanine (11/77), glycine (8/77), taurine (8/77), and leucine (7/77). Histidine, glutamine, alanine, cysteine, and taurine were the highest-risk amino acids, recording the most severe spikes in the batch analysis, respectively.
