Where is the thermos made? in china or usa? thanks

Hello, Unfortunately, the new ones are made in China. I have a very old flask made in Tennessee which is significantly heavier and therefore more robust than the current productions. The new one works fine however but, as with both versions, you should really pre-heat the flask with boiling water before putting your hot tea or coffee in. Even in winter, it keeps my drinks hot until the end of the day and can even offer a tepid drink the following morning !

I have Thermos model 2420 and i`m having issues getting a replacement stopper.

There seem to be three successive models of stoppers for these flasks. The first one was a pierced spigot type stopper with a narrow body and two rubber seals. These are long gone and no spares seem to be available. If you have this type then the rubber seals may be replaced by plumbers' O ring joints but they don't last long. The last two types have a solid wider body and the drink flows rounds the outside of the unscrewed stopper and not through the middle as per the first model. These last two stoppers seem to be interchangeable but you'd better check this. I managed to get a new thermos in exchange for my old one, perhaps Stanley / Alladin could make an offer (mine was over 30 years old...). All the best
