Very pleased with these, just what I needed following an injury to my big toe which caused me to lose the toe nail. The exposed skin was very tender. When the nail started to grow back the first few millimetres were very rough and jagged which would catch on my socks. As it was winter I didn’t want to wear sandals so bought these. I purchased the large size (I would buy small if needed for other toes), they are an excellent fit across my toe but slightly long so trimmed a small amount off the length, easy to do with scissors. Within a few moments of putting on I am unaware of wearing it, my toe is dry not sweaty or smelly when I take it off, the protector is easy to clean I just wash with liquid hand soap and dry on a towel. I have worn it with sandals for protection it stays on and doesn’t slip. They are hard wearing, I bought two packs but have only opened one as the two from the first pack are still in excellent condition. My nail has now nearly reached full length and the lower two thirds which has grown back since I’ve had these protectors is healthy pink shiny nail!

Wow. As you can see from the photo, I have a large bunion.As my big toe collapses to the right when I walk most of the pressure goes on the side of the toe and he skin there is hard and sore always.I have tried every kind of protector going, but this one is by far the best!The toe cover is a super soft stretchy silicone. It fits like a glove over the toe. OMG, it's like walking on air! I did not realise how painful my big toe actually was until suddenly I can walk with no pain. My toe now has a lovely soft pad to sit on.I can not recommend this enough. I did read the reviews prior to purchase and some people say that these can split. I did a hike this week and it was as good as new after. I wore it all day at work today with my Docs and my toe was comfortable all day.I will update this review if I experience any negatives, but absolutely thrilled with these so far. Even if I had to replace them monthly, they would still be worth every penny. Going to order more in the smaller size for my dodgy second toe too.

Although it does fit over the nail I wanted to protect from the shoe pressing on it, it made the shoe too tight so made the pressur eworse

Bought this to try to protect and alleviate pain from an ingrowing toenail/toe strike. It's soft and squishy, and cushions my big toe reasonably well. Downside is that the skin underneath it will get sweaty and wet, and may end up causing fungal nail, so if you're going to use this, keep your eye out and wash your toes and the gel cap frequently. Also note that you won't be able to use creams with these either, as the gel cap will slide right off.

SUPER LITTLE ITEM, V USEFUL WHEN I HAD TOE INJURY, AND NON LATEX, THOUGH EVEN THAT CAN CAUSE A SLIGHT IRRITATION, NOTE, IF YOU WEAR IT IN BED YOU HAVE TO WEAR A SOCK OR BEDDING 'DRAGS IT OFF'LOVE THAT ITS ALLERGY FREE, EFFECTIVE PROTECTION, AND IS WASHABLE, THEREFORE RE USEABLE.FANTASTIC PRODUCT.
