Yes. When unpacked it has a 5 year guarantee sticker on the mschine.

Q: can i mincer be used with this machine?

Yes. I use it all the time. Make sure you get the one compatible with this machine.

Q: Should I be getting a different attachment to make butter cream icing? the attachment does not reach everywhere so not able to beat the butter:(

I think that is part of the design. The spatula is to push the mixture into the centre of the bowl. I have used all the implements, I am not sure you can get add attachments. Good Luck

Actually it could be either but i think.it is a kind of synthetic metal plastic hybrid. Sounds like metal when you tap it.
