Bought as a present for my niece, who now owns a collection of these books. She is a tad heavy handed and tends to gouge the brush sometimes, but they have held up pretty well- only a few scrapes and holes in the pages. Definitely a lifesaver while travelling to keep the little ones entertained, and they are convinced that they have magical powers or a magical paintbrush. Whatever works!! No mess to clean up- even if they use too much of the brush all that happens is things get a wee bit wet, but it all dries up quickly enough. once the pages have dried, they can be reused time again. The pages are cardboard, so are pretty strong and don't bend or break easily. They definitely pass the toddler/ young child challenge.

I bought these as a gift for a princess obsessed 3 year old and she just loved them! Especially at her age she really enjoyed the instant, colorful results. There's no need to press hard or stay in the lines. It's more than colouring, there are find and search puzzles, too. The pictures dry and fade quickly so you can have another go again very soon! Perfect for waiting at a restaurant because water is available and it doesn't matter if you spill a little.

I bought it while it was on sale both for my daughter and her friend. I had also bought the same book for my older daughter. Even though it got wet with brush so many times it lasted long.

Overall I like this, it is a good idea and is a good way to keep kids entertained. My main criticism is that my daughter was a bit over zealous with the water/pen and it meant at least one of the pages got ruined and wouldn't be able to be used again.

Perfect for taking out and about, whether to a restaurant or on a plane. The water pen only needs to be filled with water, so there’s no mess at all. The pages color beautifully and then dry back to white, ready to be used again. I bought one for my son and this one as a gift – such a great and practical idea for kids!

These books are brilliant for long journeys, they kept my 2 and 4 year olds very happy last year on a car trip from Glasgow to the Peak District and beyond. No need for constantly dropeed coloured pens rolling around the floor and children do seem to like being in charge of anything to do with water don't they, so it's a win-win. The books dry out and can be used over and over - ours certainly were. I've bought two new ones for this year's summer holiday flights because eventually they do get a bit dog-eared, but all in all highly recommended.

My daughter adores these books after getting one for Christmas. Great practice for learning to colour and spot different animals WITHOUT any of the terrifying mess that comes with painting! very sturdy and doesnt wear out (shes basically washing this book a few times a day the way she colours in!)

Clever idea. But it is made of cardboard and you wet it to reveal the pictures. So it very quickly goes permanently out of shape. My little girl loves it though.

We love the water wow books, they're so easy to use. My nephew (now 6) used to love them and still occasionally will use them. Now my 2 year old niece loves to use them. Great for travel and use at home. Not messy, the pens don't leak. And the reusable factor makes this an ideal gift and worth the money. We've brought them along for road trips and on airplanes. They're also educational. Besides naming/ discussing everything in the pictures, there's usually a search and find option too. Highly recommend!

This was a stocking stuffer for our 3 year old. She can grip it no problem, all you do is add water to the marker part. It can be thrown in the diaper bag and taken out at restaurants etc to entertain. when the “wet” dries the colours leave and it can be used over and over. The price was really good, the pages are Durable. It keeps our 3 year old occupied. Super easy to empty and fill the marker with water and has a little spot to store it when not in use. We are big fans of Melissa and Doug toys!

Ma fille l'a utilisé lors d'un voyage en avion et je dois dire que je suis séduite par son aspect pratique ! Il suffit d'un peau d'eau pour remplir le style et le tour est joué. Pas de tâche donc ! Très bon produit !
