There's not much you can say about a set of break cables, other than that they do the job nicely. Top notch quality

A great set, enough for at least two bikes. Coming with the end caps and the little rubber things to stop them rubbing againstt he frame make them even better value.

Good for the price, needed a slight amount of trimming where the wire has been formed intocthe barrels and slight lips have been left..this prevented it fitting directly into the brake levers, but with a simple pair of pliers, these lips were nipped off.Have had the cables installed for a while and there has been very little stretching as of yet.Overall, pleased with the cables and what I paid.

Not much to say really - they seem well constructed and do their job well. The important thing is to have a proper cable cutter that doesn't crush the cable when cutting and cause fraying. After wrecking a few cables, I forked out for a proper cutter and it makes all the difference.

I have a 2015 Raleigh Misceo Trail 2.0 hybrid bike. It's equipped with Shimano disc brakes, which I've never really worked on before. The other day, the rear brake cable snapped and so I went looking for a replacement cable. I didn't really want to change out the conduit, so I was hoping I'd be able to find just the bare cable and hopefully one that'd be compatible with the disc brakes. Looking on Amazon, I couldn't find anything that specific, so I took a gamble and bought this kit. Though this cable isn't exactly the same thickness (it's a little thinner, probably by a mm or two), it does work in the existing conduit and was easily swapped in within 5 minutes. The brakes pull beautifully and the cable seems to be of good quality. The best part? I've got several extras just in case something like this happens again. For the money, you can't beat this kit.
