Replacement Valves for The Franke Olympus Kitchen Tap

All excellent. My new olympus tap arrived with broken hot valve, as the box bashed in transit. This replacement was easy to fit and is just as good as the original cold tap. I have a spare tap for when the cold drips in about 5 years. Do not overtighten, or you may have trouble replacing when the tap starts dripping, as it can be difficult to take the tap valve out of its bush.

Once I worked out what to get. I decided it was easier and cheaper to get the two valves complete rather than the buying two sets of valve seals. Quick service and easy to order.

As long as you know you’ve got the correct model of tap, these valves will fit and save you from having to call out a plumber or getting talked into replacing your taps altogether.The valves will go overtime due to debris finding its way in from your water supply but the originals lasted me about 5yrs. Purchased two sets and both have been spot on.

Had a Howdens Franke tapestry that started dripping following water supplier working on supply to house and debris damaging the ceramic insert on our tap.Constant drip,drip,drip. And gradually getting worse.Due to covid 19 isolation it was difficult to get a match by going in to plumbers merchant.The worst thing you need to do is count splines on tap head as tap handles may not fit.These were an exact match for the originals and literally took less than 10 minutes to fit. No more drips.I now I know these are perfect I will order second set for spare and keep safe.Excellent description and prime delivery.Thakbyou

I have just fitted theses replacement valves for our franke olympus tap as we had a constant slow drip for a long time as all the local plumbers merchants were very keen to sell a new tap. I then had a search on good old amazon and found exactly what I wanted after reading numerous reviews I had decided to purchase these and so far I must say how impressed I am very speedy delivery and took all of 5 minutes to change so even the not so handy could do this and save themselves a few quid. The valves them self are very smooth in operation and are exactly the same as the original which needed replacing and if these last any where near the 10 years they did then it will be a very good purchase.Thanks to the seller for prompt delivery which was well packaged and although I didn't need the instructions still think its a great idea for those that don't know

Previously installed OEM valves, which lasted 5+ years (in very hard water area).Installed these valves last year, very easy to install, no complaints there. But they are dripping now - 1 year later. False saving.
