Project bike, reasonable price, intriguing design.
Minivelo style, designed by Bridgeman Creative Limited, UK, made by BSH Ventures, Sri Lanka, a subsidiary of Hero Cycles, India. A close twin of the Argos Challenge Urban Camper, different paint job, possibly different components.See 2nd Life Bikes Youtube channel for his 3 videos of his cargo-bike re-imagining of the Urban Camper. Minivelos take up less space in small dwellings and may fit in a car, and are fashionable in Asia it seems.Assembly is not straightforward, the fork is not made precisely. I had to discard the quick release axle in favour of a solid one to allow adjustment to accommodate the brake disk. I also had to cold-bend the caliper mount. The fork is steel by the way. The front mudguard is a problem also; the stay, although angled, fouls the brake caliper. I discarded the stay and fabricated an additional fork mount to stiffen the mudguard. The rest of the bike seems well made and well assembled. The components reflect the low price. I paid 119 sterling and have no great complaints therefore. The bike arrived slightly damaged, a small dent in the downtube.I will next try to mount one or two baskets to make it a useful shopper; I will also experiment with a non-folding quill and stem. It remains to be seen if the cheap feeling tyres are puncture prone and need replacing.I did replace the folding handlebar assembly. See photos for 1 1/8" ahead adapter and stem. Improved feel and handling for me.

Good
Require a bit of work to assemble the parts. Overall quality is good.

Bicycle’s pedal is making noise
Whenever I use the bicycle the pedal keeps making a noise like a crack. It’s a new bicycle and I don’t know why it keeps making a noise.

The Back Ends Good
I really liked the look of this Urban bike, it would be great for the whole family to use as it's a one size fits all, unpacking it though we came across the first problem, no peddles a lot of good a bike is without peddles how ever I have a few in my workshop so not to much of a problem but could have been if I was not a keen cyclist and did not have any.Onwards and up wards, putting the bike on stand looking at the rear end everything looked good, gears worked rear brake worked so not much to do there, however the front turned out to be a whole different kettle of fish, I had fitted the handlebar and stem, I screwed the front mudguard on and the went to fit the mudguard stays, the right one was easy enough but the left one would only just fit on the screw and had to pass through the caliper this interfered with the calipers cable pull as it touched it, I could not find anyway this would fit without interfering with the brake, looking on the product images and it looked like it should go down and bend up underneath the caliper but no way could this be done with the stay fitted to the guard, so as it was way to dangerous to have the stay hitting the caliper it was safer not to have the front guard on.Then things seemed to go from bad to worst, I could not get the front wheel to fit in the forks, it was like the forks where to narrow or the hub to wide, in the end I had to take the bike off the stand and turn it upside down, it was then I found the problem, the dropouts where bent and twisted, I would probably at this point given up and returned the bike but as a vine reviewer that's complicated so I decided to do a bit of fixing and was able to bend them back into shape and fit the wheel, but even then another problem reared it's head, the wheel was not central not only that but the bolts that hold the caliper on where hitting the rotor as they where to long, I had to fit washers to make the screws not catch at first I thought it was something I had done when straightening the dropouts but after looking a bit harder the problem was one of the fork stanchions is welded lower than the other and that means nothing I can do about it, it need a replacement set of forks. As I was really looking forward to riding this I did especially as I had spent sometime trying to get things right, apart from the front wheel not tracking correctly it rode ok, gears changed nice the brakes are good, just a shame quality control let this get past, I wonder if they are all like this or am I the unlucky one?So no matter what if you get one of these bikes you will need some knowledge of working on bikes as things like brakes need to be set up correctly and you need to be able to spot the problems like I have had with this bike, if the stay interfered with the brake like mine it could lead to injury, so get someone who knows what they are doing to put it together.

Front fork is out of alignment.
Totally disappointed with this bike, it says it has been quality checked but there were no pedals included and the worst offence is that the front forks were out of alignment, I could not even fit the front tyres. Therefore I could not test.
