Arrived very quickly.There were no instructions to assemble which wasn't a problem as I just looked at the picture on the front and worked it out from there, but someone else may find it tricky. I just wanted the table to use for my laptop and it's satisfactory although it the table does bounce a bit if I type too fast! Overall, I'm very pleased with it as I can just put it to one side when not in use as the legs slide under basically anything and the top folds down - not flat - but it's still ok.Recommended as long as you don't mind a bit of a wobble if you use it for your laptop.

No matter what it says on the box this is not a true TABLEMATE. It is a cheap badly engineered copy of a very good table. Obviously a Chinese cheap copy as evident in the corners that have been cut. The legs are made of thinner tubular metal. The locking pins are considerably smaller than the holes they are supposed to lock into. This is the cause of the considerable wobble on the legs. The arms under the tabletop that the leg support is supposed to snap into has no lump on it this is what snaps the leg into place, in fact the legs just slips in and out at the slightest movement. The adjustable brace which is used to adjust the angle of the top is made of thin easily bent metal. Like it bigger cousin the leg this brace fits into also has no lump on the bracket into which it's supposed to snap lock.My wife uses her to make jewellery and only thanks to her quick action prevented hundreds of small beads and tools being dumped on the floor when the table was slightly bumped this caused the brace to pop out of it's bracket allowing the tabletop to collapse.True JML TableMates seem to be hard to find at the moment and this will have to do until a sturdier alternative can be found. Only through the judicious application of Duct tape was the table made usable, the leg wobble wasn't completely eliminated but greatly reduced. the leg and support brace are now firmly Duct taped into place.

Not very sturdy or stable. Looks and feels cheap but is basic and is suitable for occasional use as a laptop table/meal table

These are great for people who dont have a big house with a dinning table/chairs for more than two of you!! My little boy and his friends over for tea use these and they are a bit wobbly and do tend to lean downwards towards you but they're OK for when we have his friends over.I would recommend to get one if needed, but do be aware not to knock the table top too much as it will just flip and your dinner will be all over you and the floor !!

The product which I received was flimsy, and the table top flexed under the weight of a 1 litre bottle of water.I compared this to several similar tables which I bought years ago from a catalogue:-* They look almost identical.* The design is identical, but the size of the metal tubes which make up the structure was slightly thinner than my previous versions, I dont know if this accounts for the less sturdy/stable feel.* The plastic table top, is made of thinner plastic. Unlike my previous tables where the table top is flat and unbending. I found that this table top did bend under relatively light weights.I still think this is a useful product, but i would not trust it for my normal use.

I USE IT ALL OF THE TIME CHEAP EASY TO USE AND FOR THE PRICE ITS JUST WHAT I WANTED.IVE JUST REPLACED MY LAST ONE WITH THE SAME ONE.THE OLD ONE WAS USED FOR MY LAP TOP AND WAS SPOT ON AND HAD TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THE OLD ONE BROKE.NOT THROUGH ANY DEFECT BUT THE GRAND KIDS USED IT IN THEIR GAMES AND IN THE END THE LID BROKE.BUT IT DID TAKE THREE YEARS TO DO IT.I GIVE IT 5 STARS BECAUSE IT CAME WITHIN 4 DAYS OF ORDERING IT,EASY TO PUT TOGETHER AND FOR UNDER A TENNER WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT.IF ANYONE WANTS A BETTER ONE THEN SPEND £50 OR MORE

Quality is appalling and unusable after several uses. Plastic is extremely flimsy so you can barely rest anything on it, and now plastic clip has broken.We've had around 4 of these types of trays (from different sellers) over the last 10 years or so, and none have been anything like this quality. I appreciate the budget cost and I wasn't expecting it to last 5 years, but just after a couple of weeks of occasional very light use, it is now broken.Just as disappointing is when I filed a claim, the seller attempted to inform me that it is too late to return the item as it is over 1 month. This is untrue - I have had the item for less than 1 month hence I will now escalate it to Amazon. They had a chance to accept responsibility for selling substandard goods,but their attitude has now prompted me to review/feedback my experience.
