Steel Nails Hardener with Keratin, Calcium and Garlic

I've been using Steel Nails (blue cap formula) for just over three months, and I’m pleased to share that my nails feel noticeably harder and less prone to peeling. This formula has become a staple in my nail care routine, but as with many intensive treatments, it’s not without nuance. It’s worth noting that some users report a burning sensation upon application. While I haven’t personally experienced this, I understand how discomfort can be disheartening. For those with sensitive nail beds or thin or damaged nails—especially after gel or acrylic removal—a gentler alternative such as the green cap formula or Essie Treat Love & Color might be a better fit. As for performance, I’ve found that two thin coats provide the best results. When I experimented with thicker coats or applied three layers, the polish was more prone to peeling. Several reviews mention peeling, and I suspect this might be due to overapplication. As with most strengthening treatments, less is often more. I've also used Steel Nails successfully as both a base and top coat, with no issues. It layers nicely under sheer or cream polishes and adds a subtle, protective gloss. A gentle reminder: while this product strengthens nails, it isn’t a license to misuse them. One reviewer was disappointed it didn’t allow her to scrape off stickers—but no nail polish can make your nails into tools. Even strengthened nails require care and respect to thrive. In short, this is a solid, results-driven formula for those seeking to fortify soft or weak nails. I have searched for probably 5yrs, if not longer, to find a nail strengthener that actually works for me and I have finally found it! I've spent 100's on all different types. My nails are finally growing. I also began using other nail polish (Londontown - Kur) so possibly the combination but this stuff so far has worked wonders for my thin nails.

My nails were always strong and healthy, and then a couple of years ago they started cracking, splitting, chipping and breaking. I tried a couple other nail treatments, including one that’s like $20 and I took collagen supplements, and hair nail supplements nothing work before Steel Nails! I ordered this on November 3 and 3 months later, I have not broken a nail, cracked nail, had a split nail…. knock on wood. My nails are strong, long and look beautiful again. Don’t hesitate by this product if you need it!

So far so good. I've been using this for a week now. My nails are prone to break and are very brittle. It recommends 2 coats so I use just that. I find that removing the two coats after 2-3 days and then reapplying it helps. So I apply two coats, leave on for a couple of days, then remove with a nail polish remover, clean my nails and buds, and then reapply two coats. I find that works better. After 2-3 days, the polish starts to chip. Especially after washing my hands so many times and doing work with my hands a lot. It's kinda thick so use a light coat. For the price it's great to have if you're looking for growth. It's not damaging to my nails, I find it quite nourishing tbh. The smell is kinda strong so if you're sensitive, take precautions and do not inhale. The smell doesn't linger for too long. Overall I recommend and will repurchase when I'm finding myself short of it.

When I use this i feel like I have gel nails. It has really helped me keep my nails looking nice and long.

This product is good it works. I thought it wouldn’t and I started using that my nails started to grow fast and I’ve bought four more and one that I had before and I’ve never had my nails this long and strong and it’s not a lie. It really works, so I really recommend this.

This product really did make my nails feel harder upon first use, however I ended up having to take it off because for some reason my nails and finger tips were burning! I don’t know if that is how this product works, and is normal, but I decided to discontinue use. It feels like I was cutting jalapeños without gloves but worse. I couldn’t figure out what it was at first but the pain was getting worse until I took the polish off. It is unfortunate because I really did like the product on and my nails really did feel stronger.
