I am super tight, partly by genetics and partly due to having some injuries that left me with some permanent damage that required surgery. I am always cycling in and out of PT, something my doctor told me would be necessary for the rest of my life.Anyway, this was suggested to me by someone who understands flexibility very well. I was skeptical at first---I mean, this IS a $250 stretching strap---but a nice coupon got me to bite. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives. Yes, I could use a towel or a regular stretch out strap. Those things are all true.And yet....It's very, very well made of high quality canvas, cork, and aluminum, unlike the cheaper stretch out straps, and it's sized properly, unlike the towel. It's way easier to use than the alternatives, especially for someone like me who's not naturally flexible. The weight seems like it wouldn't be a big deal but turns out to make it a lot easier to control (I tried with and without). Overall, I find it much easier to use, especially to keep my foot in it while stretching my posterior chain, which is naturally very tight and is not my favorite thing to do. Lying down with my leg up it does a nice job of getting my calf and hamstrings all at once. It can also be used sitting down in a chair for a quick stretch.A skilled PT or trainer really knows how to push my muscles in a way that I've never felt I could manage on my own, even with the CastleFlexx. But it's a lot better than any alternative I've ever found and is a very good to use between sessions. If it keeps me out of PT for some extra time, that's worthwhile.

I reluctantly purchased Castle flexx after trying so many other devices to help my back and sciatica issues. I used it last night for the first time and woke up feeling better than normal. I haven’t yet purchased the program, but I think it would be beneficial. Too bad it’s so expensive, but so is physical therapy.The device is well made and seems very durable. It’s easy to handle. I can see how the removable 2lb weight is helpful too with certain upper body stretches if you don’t want the handle to be too heavy.Looking forward to seeing how much Castle Flexx can help me and my family. For reference I’m 5’3” and purchased the standard size.

Excellent stretching device!! I was apprehensive at first given the higher cost, but it was absolutely worth it! This makes stretching enjoyable and effective. The build quality is solid, and it feels stable and safe during use. I’ve noticed real improvements in my flexibility and range of motion after just a few weeks. It’s easy to use, even after a long day when I’m not feeling super motivated—this actually helps me look forward to stretching. If you’re serious about improving your flexibility or just want something to help your body feel better, I highly recommend it!!

This is a very well made premium piece of equipment. Best part is how simple it is to use... literally no set up and makes stretching simple and enjoyable.

The foot cradle is super comfortable and makes it easy to get a deep, controlled stretch without straining your hands or arms. What really sets it apart, though, is how it targets the whole posterior chain. I feel it in my calves, hamstrings, glutes, and even up into my lower back.It’s also great for decompressing the spine if you use it while lying flat. After just 10-15 minutes a day, I’ve noticed way more flexibility and less tension. Plus, it’s lightweight and easy to travel with.Pricey? A bit. Worth it? Absolutely. I absolutely love this! I don’t feel as stiff in my lower back and my calves don’t cramp up anymore after being in work boots on concrete for 12 hour shifts. I can get a deep stretch easier by myself without feeling like I’m straining to hold a position. This paired with my chirp contour has helped with my aches and pains.

I bought this over a year ago and never used it.I drive for a living and recently my lower back and IT band have been flaring up and causing me alot of pain.I used the XL Castle Flexx last night for the first time for about 20-25 minutes.I woke up feeling great! (I need to learn how to use it to target more areas of my body?I wish I had used it sooner.I will be putting this in my car to use while on the road to keep my back loosened up while I drive for work.Don't let the price tag scare you away! It helps get a deeper stretch!
