Parkland® 4 Arm Tree Cascade Garden Hanging Basket Patio Plant Planter Stand

I like the overall appearance and style of the product. it isn't immediately obvious in what order the four struts are to be positioned part from the balancing of height difference. The trick is to get the feet pointing in all four directions, of course! The interlocking tops and bottoms can easily fall apart as you try to assemble. Suggest placing a short stick through the holes while you get the frame standing upright. It has yet to be tested with the baskets hanging from the four arms but I am confident all will be well. It may need a stabiliser over the feet to combat windy conditions in an exposed spot. .But the assembled product looks the part.

I have 2 of these so far and would really like to give it 5 stars because it looks good and is sturdy once it's assembled, but there is room for improvement. The items both come without instructions whatsoever, although once you figure it out it seems easy, but it could be a hazard if people try to built it all at once, because parts can fall on your foot and injure yourself.The first hanging tree arms were all aligned nicely, so the screw got in with ease, but not the case with the second one. Only 3 arms were aligned. When we checked the one that wasn't aligned it was a bit bashed in. My hubby managed to manipulate it with his tools and we managed to have it all aligned and assembled. A bit of quality control from the manufacture would easily eliminate this problem and avoid frustration from buyers, especially those who aren't good with tools.

I bought this for a small garden to grow tomatoes and herbs in. Arrived flat packed but was relatively easy to assemble. It comes with small wire frame baskets with coconut type lining but they are very shallow. I swapped mine out for 35cm wide, 40cm deep baskets.With each one full of compost and tomatoes in full fruit, the hangers are still the same as the day i put them in (about 4 months ago)Black framed and very strong. I used a centre spike on mine (into the ground) and tie wrapped it to the post for extra support from toppling, but it is quite sturdy on its own.Very pleased with it and allows a lot of plants in a small area.

Bought as a gift product id very well made and robust for outdoor use only downside size of included baskets so small do not support room for plant growth replaced these with 14 inch baskets which look stunning

I didn't like the fact that there weren't any construction instructions to assemble the cascade.

bought this as a replacement for my mum who had had a similar items for more than 10 years. Arrived swiftly and in good condition.it does not appear to be as robust as the one it it is replacing, However does the job well. Comment from mum was the baskets supplied with the item are not very strong, so she has used her own. we have drilled the patio in order for the supplied pegs to secure the stand and it has worked well. overall it serves the purpose, time will tell if its as good as its predecessor.Happy mum =happy purchaser!

I’ve had two of these many years ago but obviously must have bought from a different supplier as although it’s virtually identical, the baskets are much smaller and there are no holes in the feet to secure to the ground/slabs which is what we did before making it unmovable. So I am now working out ways to secure this before I can plant out, shame really as otherwise a perfect item which I know will look amazing once the plants are in !!

Simplicity itself to assemble, no instructions provided or needed. But I have only given four stars as the baskets provided gave me a lot of aggravation as the chains were slipping around and it was hard to get the baskets balanced. It would be perfect if the top rim had holes that the chains clipped into as on a smaller, cheaper version that I bought on Amazon as it appears to be well made and feels sturdy.
