Q: WHere can I get a replacement lid?

I have seen the same type of lid on Amazon. Type in thermal mug replacement lid

Q: Does the lead screw on?

No the lid sits on tightly. If it drops or tips over, the lid stays on. Once the lid is on, there is a lever that slides easily with your thumb or finger to move to open the slot to drink OR close it up.

Q: Why can't you drink a soda?

I don't see why you couldn't I have drank cold beverages from this includes soda.
