This is the finest quality katana toy on Amazon! With 30 years as a martial artist and swordsman myself, I’m no stranger to the katana. It does come disassembled, with the blade, hilt, and handle needing to be put together (I recommend a small rubber mallet). The instructions aren’t great, so be careful and take your time. The scabbard (sheath) is made of metal, trimmed in plastic, and comes with both a strap for wearing the sword and a display stand. We had some trouble figuring out the intended assembly of the strap, but we made it work. The entire sword and scabbard together are very lightweight and the length (we got the 31”) is perfect for my 8 year old. Still, none of it feels cheap or easily breakable. I feel like this katana toy is a great buy for the price and I will definitely be back to buy other swords to gift my son’s friends (everyone wants one now lol).

Bought this for my son's ninja Halloween costume. Was genuinely surprised at the high quality of the build. I do iaido, and have found myself practicing at home with this at times since it's small and I won't hit anything lol... It is quite stiff getting it out of the saya, but that's what you want at the start anyway. It will get looser over time. The stand is nice, the leather strap is fine but probably won't use it much. Considering getting a second one so my two boys can do sword fights. Great price for the quality, and the bamboo is sturdy without being able to damage anything (or anyone).

These are well made and well designed. I have several cosplays where I use these blade length 31" shorter than a standard katana are called for. They are cosplay convention approved. I prefer the wood blade that these are made of over the plastic, that is a personal preference. If this or there other products fit your look, give them a try, they are a great value for the price.

Sturdy. The child is enjoying it

This is definitely not a playing sword but just to showcase. The paint and detail is beautiful but it does chip easy. It did not come with the sword guard unless my son lost in coming out of packaging

This was a gift for my 11 year old son and he absolutely loves it. Its well made and looks great, also super easy and quick to put together.

Wow! I wish they made em like this when I was a kid!! Very strong satisfying feeling wood bladed sword. My son likes to whip it around top speed and it's hit bedframes, sticks and my body with minimal damage to the blade or any looseness in the handle. Size is better than expected. Satisfying in weight and minor details. We will be buying more from this brand!

The delivery was swift but we've experienced some issues with assembly. The blade didn't fit well enough into the handle. I'm going to have to chisel it or add a spacer or something because rn there's a gap between the sword handle and the guard piece. Otherwise a good product.
