When I had my breath test for lactose intolerance at the hospital, I recorded the highest number the machine could measure within 10 minutes, and the doctor said he'd never seen it so bad. Add to that a soy allergy and life was looking pretty dismal dairy-wise. I tried loads of expensive lactase tablets but I'd still get horrendous symptoms which I'm far too British to describe in detail. Anyhoo, then I tried these as a last resort and I can now eat any dairy I want! I can eat out again! They work perfectly, never let me down. Only teensy thing is you will need more than one for most foods, I find one tablet is a scoop of ice cream or a slice of pizza, or cake. So if you want to chow down be prepared with a stash. They're also the best value for money I've found anywhere, and with the fewest ingredients, most other brands are not worth the money. Will continue to order these as long as cheesecake exists in the world.

I am lactose intolerant. I was looking for a cheap option for the few times when I indulge in dairy.It is not going to work well with a whole cheese plate but it will do the trick when eating a takeout pizza or some milk chocolate. (Again with moderation)Medium sized tablets, easy to swallow, no flavouring.The packaging seemed possibly tampered with when I opened so maybe the glue they use is not effective or unattaches as we screw the top off. I counted the tablets and I received all 270. I also did not die from possible poison attack so I am happy with it.I have the older packaging that was around 1/4 filled with the 270 tablets so seems like a waste of packaging but apparently there is a newer package now.Value for the money paid.

I have lactose intolerance and this product is the only thing that helps it keeping it at bay. If your belly is acting weird try this, believe me it will help. Amazing!

I’ve bought this product a few times and it has always been reliable. This bottle is hit and miss. I wonder how well the ingredients were mixed in this batch because I have used them the same way and have been unwell sometimes and fine at other times.I will try another brand in future. A shame as they have been great up until this bottle.

These work really well, i've been using them for years. You do not need to swallow them, you can just crunch them up as they are tasteless, that is what i do and they still work. If i'm eating a meal that contains a lot of dairy I will take two tablets. I find the effects of the tablets will last about 30 to 40 mins.

These do not work!I have been lactose intolerant since birth and have used tablets from Lactaid, Kirkland, Holland Barrett and Lactojoy for years (interchanging between them), eating loads of dairy successfully. Even taking 6 of the Bulk Pure at a time I am back to suffering with cramps, gas and diarrhoea when eating milk products. Only taking 2 pills of any of the other products would mean no side effects whatsoever so after 10 days of using Bulk Pure pills daily and suffering almost immediately every day all I can conclude is they do not work whatsoever.I wouldn't bother buying as you are getting what you are paying for. I would rather spend double the money if it meant that I could go back to eating dairy without side effects.

I'm fairly lactose intolerant, give me a scoop of ice cream and I'll puke before I'm finished eating it. If it actually makes it into my digestive system, it's not pretty. Not pretty at all. But these babies make that problem go away! If I'm having a small amount of dairy I'll just have one, if in doubt I'll chew two but I've not had a problem with any lactose intolerance symptoms since. I've tried a few different brands - my favourite being the hard to get American LactAid chewables but these work just as well and are a fraction of the price. Yes, the bottle is far too large for the product but I tend to decant into smaller containers so I keep some near me at all times (hand bag, desk etc).Definitely buying these again!
