Easy and works
Just received this ordered it yesterday. Works brilliantly and easy to use. As it’s compact and the whole capo sits close to the neck it’s less obstructive than others I use. Easily covers 5 strings if you want to play capod on the second and use a drop E tuning. No buzzing quick to adjust, great value

Amazing, quick and lightweight solution!
Amazing, quick and lightweight solution! I kept using the Dunlop straps forever because of their small dimensions but they needed adjustments when swapping from neck to neck... this solution instead is absolutely brilliant and can very quickly adapt in a blink of eyes.

The perfect capo - bar none
The best capo I have ever used.Everything about this capo is perfect. Its minimal size means it’s not in the way when you are playing right next to it.It’s also very light. It’s super easy and quick to fitThe micro adjustment means it’s easy to get the perfect sound without any buzz. The unique way of tensioning the clamp also means you get an even clamp across all strings. I’ve tried this in various guitars with different shaped fretboards and gauges of strings. It works perfectly each time. But most importantly there are no tuning issues at all. Wherever you place the capo, you can instantly play in tune. No more retuning a fraction to bring all the strings back into line.I wish I’d got one of these a long time ago.PS. I went for the more expensive metal version, partly because of looks, but also for robustness

Handy for your guitar bag
I used to use one of the strap on capos but I left it behind somewhere and thought I'd try something different without spending a lot of money on something I rarely use. I've been really pleased with this one so far, it's still small enough to squeeze into my guitar bag and is far easier to fit and I feel that I'm less likely to damage my guitar. As other reviewers have noted it's very easy to get the right tension and there are no jagged metal teeth to take chunks out of my instrument.Construction seems adequate and the screw is nice and smooth to turn. I've taken one star off because I find that in some situations it gets in the way slightly more than my old capo but maybe I'll around that as I get more used to it and I still wouldn't switch back.

Started off great but had to return after a few days
When this arrived I was delighted with it, no tuning issues, every string sounded great when played open. But then after a few days of fairly light usage the capo simply stopped gripping the strings. I screwed the mechanism in as tight as it would go but the strings were not pressed against the relevant fret and the sound, even on chorded strings, was horrendous and badly out of tune. This Capo has the potential to be great but the design of the tightening mechanism needs looked at urgently.

Perhaps the most unobtrusive, lightweight and effective capo there is?
This is about as unobtrusive, lightweight and effective a capo as can be found anywhere - I came to this having for some time previously coveted the marvellously tactile but almost twice as expensive G7th Performance capo. A pro guitarist drew my attention to the NS Capo pro and I quickly came around to it's minimalist efficiency. I still like picking up and fiddling about with other people's G7th's but this D'addario/Planet Waves capo is perfect for the job and half the weight.Be aware that there's a cheaper 'lite' version of this capo. The design is pretty much exactly the same except that it's made from ABS plastic instead of aviation grade aluminium. Although the plastic 'lite' version is not recommended for 12 string guitars, I believe it's as effective but at a pocket money price point. Otherwise, if you're not especially budget constrained I'd recommend the pro version. It's pleasingly good and you won't regret it!

Nice little capo
Not the cheapest out there but sturdy enough - no need to over tighten and works well. Not quick to slip on and off but at least you can adjust the pressure rather than relying on a spring clamp.
