Funky Soap Butter Bar Shampoo, 100% Natural Handmade, 1 bar of 120g

I'm 50yrs old and have natural afro hair. This is one of the best products I've ever used on my hair and I've tried lots of stuff in the last 50yrs! I love the smell and it leaves my hair soft and manageable without needing any further conditioners. Love it.

Arrived very quickly. Difficult to lather and leaves wet hair feeling a bit waxy but ..... when it dries my hair feels really clean and incredibly soft (and I have crazy frizzy hair). Unlike anything I've tried before. The instructions say to give the soap bar a bit of time to allow your hair to get used to it so that's what I'm doing hence the reason I can't give a 5 star review. But I'm hopeful....

I have been using solid shampoos for about 5 months now. I first started using Liggetts but I prefer this brand. They are better value for money as the bars are bigger but cheaper. I find these bars tend to last me about twice as long as the Liggetts. I buy about 3 bars at once, to take advantage of free shipping, so Im also making a further saving that way. Another nice thing about Funky Soap is the "handmade" feel of the soaps and the exciting ingredients they use. So far I have tried the henna, buttermilk and lavender & rosemary. I'm not going to lie. Solid shampoos do take some getting used to! If your experience is anything like mine you will have had the greasy, lank hair. You can avoid this by first soaking your hair in water that has had a teaspoon of bicarb soda added to it. This "softens" the water and gives a better lather that also rinses away better. After that you need to follow up with an apple cider vinegar rinse. I let it sit on my hair for about 2 mins before I rinse it out. I follow up with a small amount of conditioner. This gives great results but it is a bit of a faff which will put a lot of people off. For me its worth the extra trouble because I really wanted to cut down on my plastic waste and use natural products that are not tested on animals. One added bonus is that I only need to wash my hair once every 3 days (used to be 2 days) so they seem to have a normalising effect on my hair. These soaps do not contain parabens or SLS. I also like the idea that Im supporting a small independent business. I will definitely continue to buy more soaps from this seller in the future.

I really wanted to love this. It arrived quickly, looked lovely,beautifully packaged with good instructions. It smelt nice has good natural ingredients. It just didn't suit any of the families hair, making everyone's hair really greasy and lank including mine and I have dry colour treated hair.I bought 3 bars and persisted in using them. I had lank greasy hair for 3 weeks till they were used up.I tried, sorry.They make a lovely soap though, very moisturising.

Love this product. Get past the unusual waxy feeling after rinsing it dries great !Please keep the packaging as minimal as possible.Whilst on holiday last week I used travel size well known brand.... my hair felt awful / greasy the next day. So glad to be home and back to this. Persevere for a while with this product its well worth it in the long run as it doesn't coat your hair with artificial conditioner & you dont HAVE to wash it every day if you don't want to. Smells nice too.

This is not bar shampoo. It is just soap. As soap it is quite nice, but it's not really a product that I can use to look after my hair.The reason I tried this bar shampoo is that I get very dry hands when touching shampoo without gloves. For travel and general every day use it would be handy to have a product where I don't need to use gloves to wash my hair.I have highlighted blonde medium long hair.Some time ago, when I had very short hair, I actually used to simply wash my hair with soap and the effect is exactly the same, but with long hair it's really rather uncomfortable. Hair goes waxy and matt and my scalp a little itchy.If you are a fan of this product, please do not be offended. I'm really just speaking as a normal first time user of this product. I have no expertise in hair products and am not super keen to make something as simple as washing my hair a bigger job than needed.Please try this product for yourself. If you have different hair or more patience and the will to make it work, perhaps it will be OK for you.If you don't like it as shampoo, you can always use it as soap.

It smells and looks ok, but doesn't work on highly porous blond fluffy bleached hair. I was really looking forward to testing it on my difficult hair, as I am interested in various plastic alternatives, including my shampoo and conditioner bottles. Unfortunately, this product together with the bar conditioner didn't work on my hair as expected. It made my hair look greasy and horrible and didn't give me the feeling of the clean scalp and hair, quite the opposite actually. It is very difficult to work the product into the hair and even worse with the conditioner (I had to rub it very hard into my palms and hair). It was also difficult to get rid of it with the normal shampoos and conditioners. The fact is that highly porous hair is best maintained with hair products containing silicones. I will use it up as body wash.

Prodotto eccezionale, ho i capelli ricci e sottili spesso crespi, utilizzo per mia passione o ci provo prodotti naturali e questo è ottimo, l'ho usato normalemente frizionandolo delicatamente sul cuoio capelluto fino ad ottenere una leggera schiuma per evitare sprechi poi risciacquato senza alcuna difficoltà, ho avvolto i capelli in un panno di cotone e ppi asciugati, eccezionale morbidi e lucenti come mai davvero prodotto eccezionale...straconsigliato... qualcuno nei commenti diceva che lascia i capelli unti a me che li ho crespi no assolutamente, dicevano che era difficile da sciacquare ma penso che se si usa la giusta quantità si sciacqua in un attimo, non necessita di un doppio lavaggio, e per chi diceva che lascia i capelli stopposi devo dire che forse capita se si passa da prodotti chimici a prodotti naturali ma dopo poco non sarà così a me era capitato passando da un normale shampoo ad uno naturale acquistato nei supermercati... bisogna solo capire che il chimico fa più effetto ma alla lunga ha delle pecche ed il naturale ci mette un po' ma poi i risultati sono eccezionali e senza nuocere all'ambiente...

Llevo ya unas semanas usándolo y la verdad me gusta bastante.Tengo el pelo seco y además de eso, ahora lo llevo decolorado con lo cual pasé de tener un pelo sano aunque seco, a tener un estropajo en la cabeza. Desde que uso este champú y gracias a que engrasa mucho el pelo, ahora mi pelo ha recuperado algo de brillo (cosa que daba por perdida ya).No hace casi espuma, lo que no significa que no limpie. Limpia y mucho. Yo me restriego bien por el pelo la pastilla de champú y listo.Da la sensación de que tarda mucho en aclararse pero es por la sensacion grasa que deja. Cuando se seca ya no se siente graso en absoluto.El único pero que tiene es que escuece un poco en los ojos. Con un pelín de cuidado al enjabonar todo perfecto.

Da ich vor einem halben Jahr beschlossen habe auf herkömmliches Shampoo + Conditioner zu verzichten, bestellte ich mir dieses feste Shampoo. Meine Haare haben anfangs etwas gebraucht um sich umzustellen, weshalb ich in den ersten Wochen noch meine Restbestände Conditioner zusätzlich verwendet habe. Für meine schulterlangen, sehr dünnen und trockenen Haare ideal mit der Rückfettung. Diese fühlt sich anfangs wirklich schlimm an, hier ist Geduld gefragt! Der buttrig, zimtige Duft erinnert mich irgendwie an Weihnachten. Er ist nicht aufdringlich und bleibt auch nicht im Haar. Nach der Wäsche riechen die Haare einfach frisch. Nach 5 Monaten ist gerade mal knapp die Hälfte aufgebraucht. Zusätzliche Produkte benutze ich kaum noch, wenn überhaupt dann noch ein Produkt für die trockenen Spitzen nach der Wäsche.📌Produktverpackung: In Seidenpapier eingeschlagen, bedruckter Papierstreifen drum rum mit Inhaltstoffen📌Anwendung: 2 Haarwäschen in der Woche, den Block direkt über die nassen Haare am Ansatz streichen, danach mit den Händen schön aufschäumen und in die Längen verteilen danach gut ausspülen . 2x wiederholen, da 1x Reinigung und 1x Pflege. Schäumt erst beim zweiten Durchgang richtig. Zum Schluss die Haare noch kalt abbrausen.📌Aufbewahrung: Ich habe die Seife in einem Sisal-Säckchen in der (offenen) Dusche hängen. Eine Ablage ist auch möglich. In jedem Fall muss das Wasser ablaufen können, da der Block sonst aufweicht🏷Je nach Haartyp und Struktur muss getestet werden. Die Haare brauchen eine Zeit um sich umzustellen, sowie die Eigen-Fettregulierung. Weniger (kein) Plastikmüll und viel ergiebiger wie herkömmliches Shampoo.Kaufe ich definitiv wieder!

Au bout d'une année de m'être lavé les cheveux avec du savon naturel sans utiliser d'après-shampooing, mes cheveux commençaient à perdre de leur souplesse. Ce savon conditioner est le premier produit Funkysoap que j'ai essayé et j'en suis ravie. Mes cheveux sont redevenus souples, doux et brillants.Je masse le shampoing dans mon scalp et mes cheveux à peu près 2 minutes, puis je rince, suivi d'un rinçage au vinaigre de cidre. Enfin quelques gouttes d'huile de coco massée dans les pointes à la sortie de la douche, et voilà, on laisse les cheveux sécher à l'air libre et ils sont tous beaux.[Mise à jour 2018] J'avais l'habitude d'acheter les savons de cette marque 3,65€ l'unité. Du jour au lendemain, les prix ont doublé, voire triplé. Je vais changer de marque.

26 lavaggi, per me quasi due mesi, lascia i capelli lisci e districati, pettinabili senza uso di balsamo, ma avendo i capelli grassi non adatto a me. Delucato profumo di cannella. ne proverò altri ;)
