Good for price
I received this violin bow in excellent shape. For the price it is excellent. Lots of hair, the frog and windings are good, it tightens and loosens very nicely. I gave it 4 stars only because it is not perfectly straight. The wood curves a bit at the end. The bow I am replacing came with my violin and is way more crooked than this one and came with a beautiful expensive instrument. I was actually surprised at how nice this bow is for the money. Works well for a very amateur player like myself. I would reccomend.

Great to carry anywhere in your pocket like a pen, and very bright!
Great to carry anywhere in your pocket like a pen. I got many of these and most are just too bulky or stand up too high or too low. This one is just right and looks great, while it is bright and very useful for about anywhere. Fast shipping, packaged well, I highly recommend this seller!

Amazing Bow for the Price!!
Totally surprised at the quality of this bow. The balance and weight surprisingly felt good for a basic bow. Packed well for shipping. No damage to the package or bow. What a delight to open it! Bow is well protected in a beautiful box. Bow tightens easily with just a few turns of the tension screw. Of course one can expect a few loose hairs on the bow but that is common with any bow. As with all new bows, make sure you rosin the hair well to get your sound. The stick is very pretty and smooth. I enjoy playing cello with it. Good sound. Not much fatigue. I would definitely buy this again.

sturdy, plenty of hair
This is cleanly made, looks good, feels solid, plenty of hair, Easily tighten and loosen. Some other cheap bows people complained there wasn’t much hair, so I chose this one with higher ratings. Seems like a good choice. There are some plastic or nylon parts that traditionally were made of wood or metal. Not a big deal, as the price isn’t $300

Satisfactory
I'll keep buying this bow until I achieve a much higher mastery level. It's a great value. It almost deserves 5 stars.
