A heavy duty laptop bag
I bought this bag after a recent major operation to protect me from myself. I owned a larger version of this and had a tendency to fill it up with non-essential stuff. I sold that on for a nominal price to another IT Technician at my company and bought this. It has all the little pockets and zip up storage for all the things you could need to carry about with your laptop and more - I still have to control my urge to stuff it with items I don't use often. I used it originally to carry my 16" MacBook Pro (2019 model). Then to transport my 15" MacBook Air (2023 model). I've even carried my 17" Gaming laptop, although that was stretching things a bit. It has a large rear section with unzips to about 170° and has a pocket for the laptop (padded both sides) and a zip net pocket on the other side where I store the power cables. The next compartment is also full height with a 1/4-1/3 height divider at the bottom. I use this for cleaning gear, docking station, instant coffee and any items for the specific job I am attending. Next forward is a little Zipped compartment this is about 1/3 depth. Where I keep face masks, spare USB drives, spudgers and other little items. Finally there's the front compartment. This has a zipped pocket half way down where I keep all my USB cables and a 4 port Hub. Then 3 tiered pockets on the left (where I keep an external SSD & my magic mouse) a central pocket with 3 elastic grips for pens on the front, and a single pocket on the right (where I keep all my USB adapters) . It's a very well made bag, well thought out and does a great job for me. I'm not the most careful person in the world, but I feel confident this bag will protect my laptop from the normal day-to-day abuse I give it.

this bag Is the tardis
So I bought this as my partners dad and brother both have one and was an excuse to upgrade my tatty old bag. So firstly the delivery really fast. Which was good as I needed it asap. This bag was bought to take on holiday and to be my carry on bag. I bought another bag to take around while I was there before, but this could have easily done it. For the flight there I managed to cram loads in this and still had space. And best of all it felt really comfortable on my back a and shoulders due to these amazing straps. I thinks you could fill it to bursting and still feel like you were carrying a cloud. It has many pockets that other different things. I'm still finding pockets and storage in the bag it is like having a tardis. The main laptop compartment is brill it fits my laptop comfortably and all the things to go with it. Although I didn't take the laptop on holiday it was worth while knowing for future reference. I put my iPad in this pocket and It devoured it. The quick pocket on the top was brill managed to squeeze loads of stuff in there including : 3 sets of keys, iPad charger, sunglasses, wallet, pens and more and like it says it's quick to get into. The bag has a self sitting mode which was great at the airport and hotel room as you can just pop it anywhere and its out the way but ready to go. My only downside to this bag is not this bags fault. But was one of the main reasons for buying it. The checkpoint friendly pocket. So this bags back pocket unzips and folds out allowing you to leave your laptop in and not have to take anything out. In theory great less hassle getting everything in and out get through security well no. I had to take my iPad out still and zip the bag up and place it in a separate tray. I tried explaining to security but all I got was a slowed down version of take all electrical items blah blah blah. But it was fully allowed in the states they where fine with it. I would say a worth while purchase, don't let the price put you off. Like I said I bought this as my partners dad and brother had one. Her brother spent 3 months in the states with this bag and is currently using it for uni. Her dad used it for a 3 week road trip around la to Vegas And uses it to go to work and running now. Excellent bag Excellent build Excellent features Excellent price.

A* Backpack that doesnt make me look like a twat
I bought this as a commuter bag as it is practical and looks professional too. Its replacing an old nike bag that made me look like a student, no padding, no pockets, worn out after 1 year. I read loads of reviews and decided on the Wenger, love their Swiss army knives so was thinking they would do well at backpacks too. I've used ithe Wenger Legacy for a few months now and absolutely love it. Hands down the best commuter bag for me, beats a briefcase, beats the old bag by miles. I carry a lot of gear with me and it manages to fit my laptop (love that it's in a separate padded pouch), copious papers and notebooks, work shoes, lunch, water bottle, electric breastpump and icepacks, umbrella, and more! I love the pouch at the top, perfect for keeping my pass and Oyster without losing them . Pros: can hold loads, distributes weight well, stands up by itself, durable, made to last, doesn't make me look like a twat at the office Cons: too many sub pockets that I am frantically searching to find where I put my small items, pretty heavy by itself, not a huge fan of the red stitching accents Notes: it markets itself as a carry on bag that you don't need to take out your laptop at security but the security checkpoints still require that you take it out anyway so maybe it's ahead of its time for this. I haven't found a use for the ribbon down the front. Don't know what it's for!

Quality and features
My last bag was a Targus eco bag that has lasted 12 years of abuse and was still going strong. Hopefully this Wenger bag will last as long, if not longer. Looks and feels very well made, with lots of clever features. The laptop pocket is well padded and other pockets can easily swallow a tablet as well as all the power supplies, big headphones and notebooks. Space for other documents, pens, phone, wallets are all there and are easy to access. The fold out feature that keeps the bag upright is a nice to have, so will see how that works. The only downside is that the whole bag, just by itself, weighs a few grams more because of all these features. Time will tell if it lasts but the 5 year warranty is a plus!

For the price it is a very stable and a feeling of good quality when carrying this backpack. The size is good enough for me to store needed accessories but I wish it would be more compartments on the side of the backpack

Great product as usual from Wenger, good size and fits a 16 inch laptop, nice straps and a good amount of functional compartments.
