Simple cost effective way to carry surfboards
This is a great product. Simple to install, I carried one 7ft 9 board for 60 miles on it with no issues (motorway and country roads). Also carried 4 boards of the same size with no issues for a shorter trip. The only minor side effect is that it sounds like you are riding a scrambler motorbike from inside the car as the straps buzz when you go over 50 mph - however with a bit of experimenting I'm sure I can reuce the noise.

Excellent portable roofrack
Works perfectly when taking snowboards away on holiday. Light and small, so easy to pack. Simple to fit on the hire car.The only thing you need to remember is to add a twist to the longer strap to stop it flapping/vibrating at speed.

clasps slip
This does not secure surf boards to the roof of the car. The clasp slip. Was bought as a present in the summer otherwise would be sending back

Didn’t get on with them
These didn’t go well with my Dacia Sandero Stepway 2018. I put my surfboard on them and the surfboard wasn’t secure. My friend has these on his pickup truck and works well for him.

Unbearably loud at 30mph
The product is well designed and looks decent. It straps on pretty easily.Unfortunately the straps on the car start making a terribly loud noise from around 30mph. So if you plan to go somewhere with your board this is absolutely useless. That noise makes you quite worried about whether or not the board may be flying off all over the motorway in a few minutes. In my case I didn't even make it out of London before I had to turn around and leave the board at home.I suppose it's alright if you only plan to drive between spots in the same area, but I suppose for most people in the UK that hardly applies....

Good, simple product
I bought this to put a set of windsurf gear on a hire car. It is very light and so great for air travel and a better alternative to the inflatable versions. Very simple to put on, even for a first timer in the dark and held the kit securely with no issues. Only point to note is that none of these temporary roof racks provide the firm tie-down that a permanent rack does - the kit does lift slightly at speed and for this reason I wouldn't use one for motorway driving of any distance or at more than 100kmh.

Good kit
These are very good, took to Canaries and strapped on the roof of the car, could see the board nose through the top of the windscreen and even at 120KMH it didn't move at all.
