Q: how long are these from the tip of the middle finger to the cuff?

I suppose that would depend upon what size you order?

Q: Do these melt with acetone?

I don't have any acetone handy, but these have a chemical icon on the box, indicating they can be used with chemicals, so, as basic and common as acetone is, I would seriously doubt these would melt, or there would be a warning on the box. They are heavier-duty than most disposable nitrile gloves. I've had methanol permeate disposable rubber gloves, but these are far more durable for most purposes. I use them for painting, cleaning, putting over my mechanic's gloves for some kinds of car work, bathing the cat, and for playing bass (preserves my fretting hand, and eliminates annoying amplified finger squeaks). I can't guarantee these won't melt with acetone, but I would be very surprised.
