Looks and feels a stylish quality product
The real test of electric salt and pepper mills comes in how or even if they are still performing in a couple of year's time, but, so far, a few weeks on and this set tick pretty well every box. They are stylish, a different shape and design to the norm - the usual straight cylinder with button on a domed or flat top - which makes them immediately stand out. They are also larger and more substantial than the norm.Inserting batteries is simple with the usual arrangement of twisting the top from the salt or pepper container, but lining up to refit everything is aided by discrete markers. The containers for salt or pepper are a decent size with a large top opening making them easy to fill while the adjustment for the level of milling seems to work to give a courser or finer level of grind - not always the case on some mills. All in all very pleasing product which has had complimentary comments from everyone who has used them. We have a few Cuisinart products which I have found very reliable, doing the job they were designed for without fuss, so would expect the same from the salt and pepper mill. They are not the cheapest but they are stylish, appear well made and high quality, work well and are from a manufacturer I trust. So, highly recommended.

Fab looking set and very sturdy!
Had looked for a while for a decent set of electric mills to replace my annoying 2-in-1 lidded manual set and came across these. I didn't want lights or to have to pour the ground salt / pepper out of the top - and they all seemed to look the same!I've had a set of electric mills years ago but they each used a million batteries (ok, 6) looked cheap, had tiny chambers for the salt and pepper and were a coated grey plastic that eventually scuffed, cracked and looked tatty - so I was glad to see things had moved on a bit! These have a stainless steel body, feel heavy and sturdy, hold a decent amount and look stylish enough to keep out on the worktop. Being bottom heavy there's less chance of knocking them over accidentally too. I've not adjusted the grind yet as I've been happy with the coarseness but the one I use for salt seems to grind faster than the pepper so perhaps not the strongest blades.Only a couple of things to note; the metal plate on the top of one popped off when I was unpacking it but nothing a dab of superglue couldn't fix. Also they're quite wide in diameter at the base to others I've seen (over 7cm), just in case you were looking to place them on a mill tray.Edit: One has stopped working! Even with a change of batteries. Have ordered another set and will return this one, see if they last longer...

Good design!
Easy to grip, fill and use. Excellent the simple one touch button operation for easy grinding. Like the fully adjustable mechanism with grind control for extra fine to coarse results, size, brushed stainless steel looks good in the kitchen and on the table. Used a birthday Amazon gift voucher to purchase the electric seasoning set. It is so nice to buy something you really want and really thoughtful that you get asked what you would like for your birthday.

The product looks very stylish and was working well but ...
The product looks very stylish and was working well but after just 6 months the one of the mills stopped working, tried replacing the batteries but no luck. I wanted to contact the seller and ask if there was warranty for at least a year but the option was not available on amazon website. The option to purchase one mill is not available either. So, we are stuck with either having one mill or to buy a new set and hope that it will work for longer than 6 months.

Fourth time perfect!
This is the fourth electric pepper/salt mill I've tried, and I now think I'm set for life. One of the others was absolute crap (very bad quality grinding mechanism that could barely handle rock salt), another was OK, but got clogged easily, the third performed well but shared one characteristic with the others that I found a big downside in all three: a quite small supply chamber that was always very fiddly to fill. Some sort of dismantling was always involved, and then you had to fashion a little funnel to get the darn salt/peppercorns into the chamber. With this, the top simply twists off, revealing a generous "wide mouth" opening into which you can pour your refill directly from the packaging. SO simple and easy! Add to that the plus points that others have mentioned (solid quality look and feel, adjustable grinding size, etc), and I am one happy owner of this set. Actually two - Within a week of receiving the first one (for the dining table) I bought another one for the kitchen. A last note on the batteries - can't say what usage is, as I have haven't had to replace them yet. But I put them in more than a year ago and, even with heavy usage, they're still going strong.

Great product
Easy to put together and to use. Looks good as well. Depending on how often you use them, the salt and pepper last quite a long time. Like the fact that you can alter the grinding amount. Great product
