Other reviews are right about this very informative book that's surprising thick, with many ideas and recipes for dehydrating fruit and veg. I'm following tip it gives to store dried food in airtight glass jars, as I'm trying to steer away from plastic. I highly recommend for anyone wishing to extend food preservation and storage beyond that of the humble freezer, especially if like me they have an allotment and suffer from the occasional glut that might otherwise go onto the compost heap.

Ultimate dehydrator book
I have been drying food for years now and still find this a great book, with plenty ideas on how and what I never thought of.It explains it all from simple drying herbs to start up to making fruit leathers, jerky, backpacking and camper food, bread and crackers, snacks, cup a soup, stews, chili's...... Even for the slow cooker it has recipes. There is also a section of main dishes, salsas, pickles.Every time I go read in it, I find more interesting stuff to make.It is an American book, but there is an metric equivalent table in the back so you will not have any difficulties.As the title says, this is the ultimate dehydrator book on the market, you do not need any other book if you have this 1.

Very comprehensive book
I've only read, well browsed throug this and yet to make anythingSeems a really good starter book and I hope to actually use it rather thanyet another reference cook book. Some really good ideas and recipesfor making instant foods. Ie. Dehydrated soups, meals for camping,Motor home meals etc that you can simply prep, dry individualingredients, pack and then simply add water to to creating meal.It's like rocket or space food 😂Fingers crossed, I use it so I can use the dehydrator for morethan just fruit 🤞

Simple, easy to follow
Really useful book for someone who has never dried food before. It is American - so need to do a bit of converting to British baking measurements, but the recipes and tips are simple and easy to follow.

Perfect!
Brilliant book! I'm a complete novice here! Bought my hydrator "klarstein" to make healthy chews for our dog...& hoped to get some use for us too! There is everything you need to know in this book from prep to storage. Times & recipes. Well worth the money!

What a fantastic book!
I am new to dehydrating and I have found this book to be an amazing treasure. It contains such valuable information and is written with total enthusiasm which is contagious! This is the only dehydrator book you would ever need and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone considering going the dehydration route to buy a copy. I purchased mine on my kindle for IPad and I can bookmark, highlight and add notes to myself with ease.

Ultimate Dehydrating Book
I'm so happy & excited I ordered this Dehydrating Recipe book. It was difficult to choose but after reading about it and hearing from friends about it-I had to have it. There are so many recipes to choose from and the author has included preparations, entries on how to dehydrate, and so much information on everything we worry about when dehydrating. I don't need another dehydrating book, only this one. My book was a day late but that was no problem-it was well worth the wait! With 398 recipes in the book at my disposal, I will be able to prepare my family for any further rising grocery costs. I honestly believe everyone can benefit from purchasing this book-I genuinely cannot praise it enough!!!

What an awesome resource, I really love this book!
This is an exceptional collection of priceless information and recipes relating to food security for everyone. So many things can be dried and saved for years. If you cook a lot as I do with pressure cookers and stews, then all of these dried foods become just so many more foods you can add in! It's easy and a lot of fun. For example, I always way overproduce on collards and kale, there's only so much you can eat in the summer, plus I put up two gallons of sauer kraut (made from collards and kale, I call it 'power kraut'!!).And STILL there are more collard and kale leaves. Leave it to this drying method to safely preserve all the abundant leftover leaves, two big gallon jugs worth! Then I add them into lentils, rice, pasta, beans, or anything I'm making, and it's just that much more delicious, nutritious, and economical produce for us that would have gone to waste at the end of the summer. I already had a large collection of sealed jars for my dry goods, but now I'm doubling the number of jars to accommodate all these foods my garden produces which now I can save in a new way all year that is immune to power disruptions, a great feeling of security in these times of inflation and power scarcity. I can't recommend this book enough to everyone who values nutrition, convenience, and food security for themselves and their families.

This deserves more stars!
This book goes above and beyond what it promises! I have followed her a while on Facebook (name: dehydrate2store) and made heaps of handwritten notes before realizing she had a book. Bought it immediately.No idea why the other review on here is bad!I love it, love it, love it!!!!Great for beginners, pros and everything in between.
