Beautiful, Durable, And Easy To Install. Hard To Go Wrong With This!
The media could not be loaded. This is a very well made and designed pop up drain. I've used it for six months now with zero issues. The finish seems to be holding up nicely.Pros:- Durable and well made- Lovely finish- Easy to install- Nicely packagedCons:- None that I could find with the product itself, so far. I will update this review if these fail me prematurely.Overall: Hard to go wrong with this. I highly recommend it if you're in the market for a nice drain plugI'm using it with this vessel sink:VIGO VG07027 Amber Sunset Glass Vessel Bathroom Sink

Nice drain
Beautiful finish and solid build. I bought a Price Pfister faucet from Home Depot for a b-room remodel but the drain that came with it was plastic garbage you'd find for $10 at a hardware store. I hear that's what mfrs do with the big box stores to cut costs. So I ordered this to replace the supplied drain. Hear that Price Pfister? I pay extra for quality and you sneakily cut costs! I still would have bought the faucet at $40 more, but would have been happier if the whole package was quality. Good way to ruin your name. Anyhow, this drain has beautiful, thick metal construction and I expect it to last quite a while.

Simple Use and Installation
When remodeling our master bathroom, we chose to go with a vessel bowl and vessel bowl faucet. The faucet chosen did not have the traditional drain rod for closing the drain so we had to go with a pop-up. And it needed to be specific to the bowl manufacturer. This drain met all the requirements and was super easy to install. Works by just down on the top to allow the bowl to fill, and push again to open the drain. Great quality and look!

Seals nicely; a little oversized...
Out of the box, my first thoughts about this drain were curses, because according to my calipers the threaded section of the tailpiece is a hair over the 1-1/2 inches called out on Karus' specification sheet, and it was not fitting into my drain opening. A very light amount of Dremel action (on the porcelain sink) rectified that problem, and the drain slid in and sealed perfectly with the included gaskets and locknut. The tailpiece as a whole is generously long -- a bit over 7" in total -- but the threaded section is half of that, so it definitely shows underneath a wall-mounted sink. If you're handy, you'll find that this section can be trimmed to a more suitable length, and the smooth portion of the tail piece screw on to the very ends of these threads. The pop-up action is smooth and sure, and it doesn't require much effort. The seal is excellent. The oil rubbed bronze finish matches my Kohler Devonshire faucet nearly perfectly, but is a bit lighter than the Kohler Bottle Trap it plugs in to. No matter, it's close enough, and carries the oil rubbed bronze finish through the entire piece, unlike the Kohler Grid Drain which transitions to a bright silver finish below the waterline.

Easy to install, doesn't click into the down position well
I had installed a drain that just would not work. So, I bought this one to and it installed well with no leaks. The only reason I'm giving it three stars is that it is suppose to pop up and down for draining/holding water. The only way I can get the thing to hold water is to unscrew the top, click it until it holds, then screw it back into place. Not a big deal, but really? Who wants to do that every time they want a sink full of water? Other than that, it is a fine drain and much better quality than you will find at the local home centers.

Elegant looking
We had bought a vessel sink and we were looking for a Oil Rubbed Bronze faucet. The home center had an Oil Rubbed Bronze drain to match the faucet but did not have the mounting ring in Oil Rubbed Bronze. After having paid more for the drain without the ring, I found this while looking for an acceptable mounting ring. The complete package was more elegant looking than the one we had, so I bought this and returned the other drain. Very pleased with this find. While we did not mount the vessel sink where the plumbing was visible, this drain and mounting ring are intended to be seen and look great.

As Expected
This item arrived as anticipated and perfectly matches my faucet made by the same company. Most company's oil rubbed bronze is a brown color. Kraus' is more black. If you are trying to match a brown color of another company, you may want to look else where. If you are looking to match a Kraus fauct, this is probably perfect. The color is basically black with a thin, copper ring. The pop-up mechanism works great and holds water really well. Installation was simple.

Nice classy product
Great satin finish. I put this on our limestone sink. It is a good look, but the only thing is that since it's a popup, it's really BIG. It kind of swamps my sink bottom. The old fashioned kind would have probably been a bit more proportionate, but I didn't want to reorder, and I really do like the look of the drain. I'd just caution you on putting it in a tiny sink. It will swallow it!
