Yes but why ? Ot is very handy and makes it easy to hold securely you don't want to drop this brick

It come with front portion to make a complete case

Is this case made to hold a pen

No, it does not have a means for holding a pen. The strap on the back with the green elastic band is for secure one handed holding. As a side note I totally recommend purchasing only the silicon cases. The hard shell cases are slippery and difficult to hold while the soft fabric cases are alittle flimsy.

A bit bulky

Good to protect the device, just consider there is no protection for the hinge, I guess you need to trade one thing for the other in this kind of phones.Not too bulky, but not great for wireless charging.

i love this case. The strap helps you keep hold of it. My old one had a hinge between the 2 pieces that hindered operation somewhat. This one is 2 separate peces and it works better.

The strap held true in every situation and made it easier to use my phone while climbing the thousands of steps in Oia and Fira...
