A word to the unwary: the white isn't actually white at all, but more of an off-white/ivory/cream type colour (hence the lost star). However, the top feels so lovely to wear that I can't bring myself to return it and have just ordered myself another one in black! The material is really soft against the skin and surprisingly warm given how thin it is, and the fit is just right (I'm a size 10). It doesn't look like a thermal top (thank god) and the lower/wider neck is fantastic for wearing under other items of clothing without looking awful! The translation from Chinese on the packet had me giggling: to quote "Underwear can be treated as the second floor skin of the human body, the quality relation graveness. Further exaltation of the level along with the life. People slowly from pay attention to the quality of the jacket, develop to the concern of the underwear." WHAT?!?!! Marvellous! However, the top itself is really lovely and and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it wholeheartedly to others (unless you want one in pure white, which it isn't).

Am I the only one who was fooled by this product description and the pictures? Did anyone else believe that the words 'top & bottom', alongside pictures showing woman wearing thermal leggins too meant you would get both? I'm really disappointed to have only received the top. Now I have read the product description properly I can see that I can really only blame myself - but I do feel that this is deliberatly misleading.

*NONDISCLAIMER* I bought this with my very own money, at full price, so nobody's bribing me to write mysteriously positive reviews about their product; I'm just doing it to be helpful. I bought these for work (I work in a brand new purpose built NHS hospital, indoors, allegedly). I was really looking for silk, but these were so reasonable and the reviews so good I thought they were worth a try. They are very thin, but this is perfect when you need extra warmth under your clothes without looking like a Yeti. It's layers of air as much as thickness that does the trick. I found these perfect for the harsh environment of a hospital apparently designed for frail and elderly patients. No more huddling over my computer in my full length puffa coat and fingerless gloves (you think I'm joking, don't you? I wish that was the case). With these on, I can stride the icy corridors, in my suit looking like a normal person....whilst not wondering how long it takes for hyperthermia to set in. I've also been wearing them as leggings under shorts at home; personally I think they're opaque enough to do that, but I may be wrong. Truth to tell, I've been wearing them constantly since I bought them so as I don't want to be without them or smell really bad, I'm buying another pair. My only regret is that we don't distribute these to clients on entering our icy portals.

This outfit was perfect to wear under a mesh dress on a cold day. It's thin, stretchy, very comfortable and stayed smooth; no ruckles to spoil the line of the dress. I'm 5'7" and size 16. The XL was the right size for me.

Nice fit and good quality

Ich hab das Oberteil wirklich tot getragen. Super angenehmer Stoff und ein guter Schnitt. Nach Jahren und unendlichem Waschen ist es zu dünn geworden und zu durchsichtig. Aber ich habe es geliebt.

I got this long underwear set to go under my clothes when hiking and find them really comfy to wear. They fit under anything as so thin , yet really keep me warm. I like the lower neckline as it doesn't show under most necklines and the fabric is really soft and stretchy. Much nicer than other sets I tried as well made, comfy and machine washable.
