They were very easy to fit to my wooden tool box

The catches themselves were fine but needed, after fastening down, to reposition the catch hooks. However the screws are so soft the star head just wouldn't grip the screwdriver. I would suggest using a screw that you are sure is capable of being extracted

The catches are sturdy enough. They lack an actual centre-to-centre reference distance to get the correct tension. Of course trying to guess whether you have positioned them right, too loose or too tight is annoying as once you have drilled the screw holes you can't adjust them. So I got mixed results, but mainly too loose..........If anyone has any tips on how to set the correct over-centre/tension distance then please feel free to comment! Thanks!
