Here's a weird thing about the visual impression a car generates: clean wheels can make all the difference between your car looking pristine or scruffy. If you're hoping for the former, you need to try this Custom Wheel Cleaner. Absolutely perfect for all alloy wheels [don't forget the disclaimer! Try a small amount on the inner rim of one wheel first...] this powerful cleaning agent eats into brake and road dust, grime and dirt, helping to dissolve caked-in residue and lifting it away from the wheel surface. Best applied with a small, stuff wheel brush [supplied in the kit] and then left to soak in, experience suggests that the best way to apply this is as a first step, before washing the rest of a car. Have used in painted, diamond cut, and wheel trims - effective yet not abrasive in my experience. Spray is quite direct though, a mister would have been better as the bottle doesn’t seem to last that long. Hence 4 rather than 5 stars.

This was delivered on time and no significant damage to the product very happy with purchase, have not used this bottle yet. If it's like the one that we had in the car then will be a good buy as I have used the one in the car to clean break dust and other bits of the alloy wheels. Very happy with my purchase

Doea a great job done once tyres still looking good after two weeks . Make sure your tyres and brush cleaned first .

This was a very good product for the front wheels at least. Spray on, leave a bit, agitate with supplied brushes and rinse off as per instructions. Even when spraying, you can see the dirt start to run off. Front wheels came up great. (see customer pictures) Seems impossible to leave the foam on for 'no more than a minute'. By the time you've applied to the wheel, left to work for a few seconds and then scrubbed around it all, you are well over time. This does not seem to have caused any problems though. For some reason though, the rear wheels which appeared the same level of dirty were a bit more stubborn. Did exactly the same process as per the front but the corners remained dirty. A second application made no difference and I resorted to the scouring pad on a washing up sponge instead. If the rear wheels came up as easily I would have given 5 stars. This was on wheels that have just had a sponge and car wash liquid cleaning for the last 5 years and were quite yellowed / brown in places. I think the product therefore performed quite well given what it was up against but you may need something a bit more corrosive for really stained wheels. Supplied brushes are good. Used the large one to scrub all around the 4 wheels, did not lose any bristles and it retained it's shape too. I would probably buy again but may also want something a bit stronger for the really stubborn stains. Hope this helps

By far my favourite brand for car cleaning and details!

I had some serious buildup inside the wheel wells/barrels which I neglected, this has helped break it down nicely before a contact clean with a brush. Great clinging, foaming qualities and the bottle and trigger sprays so nicely without making a mess. I wish they had bigger bottles because this stuff is really great!

I love this wheel cleaner from Autoglym; it is safe on virtually all wheels, it foams up nicely, it doesn't make me cough, and it cleans the wheels extremely well. Custom Wheel Cleaner makes for an awesome tire cleaner as well. Being an alkaline cleaner, you need to agitate with a sponge or brush for the best results. What I really like is that you can dilute 1:1 with water for wheels that aren't too bad, according to the directions on the back of the bottle. In fact, 90% of the time I use it at 1:1 strength in a separate spray bottle and it works fantastic. I really hope Amazon starts carrying the 5-liter size of this product because at $8.49 for 500mL (16.9oz) it is quite pricey.
