No inner bin, but great quality, soft close and lockable lid, has wheels for easy movement, lovely and slim so space saving

Beautiful piece of work, for a bin. Fitted exactly where I wanted it to go.The only slight problem was that there were no guide on how to fit the detached lid to the main body of the bin, though we got there in the end.Foot pedal is well constructed and the lid has a slow close.Did like that the bin liner is hidden from view

This bin has been fine, quality wise it was a nice bin. Good lock to keep the dogs out.The lid sometimes came unclipped at the back, but that was fine I just put it back on every now and then.After 2 years the one of the pedal fitting knobs that clicks into the underneath has snapped. We just heard a snap and the pedal to open the lid stopped working.I tried looking for a replacement pedal but can’t see that part on its own. It’s a shame if you can buy one part to save throwing the whole thing away.Edit: simply Human have a 5 year warranty on this bin, after contacting them for a replacement part. They told me it still had a warranty which I had assumed was the standard 2 years.They are sending a replacement bin.What fantastic service.

Works really well for us. Lid closes completely and doesn’t fall off. I’m wondering if the reported problems are because the lid isn’t fitted on correctly-it arrived separately and takes quite a bit of force to snap on. Great product

If you have a dog then you know what I mean. The deep dread of returning home to a scattered bin. The fear that someone may, unthinkingly, put raisins, or corn on the cob, or chicken bones in the bin and the dog will get too it (I don't worry so much about chocolate - no one in our house would put that in the bin). It is not so much the mess, although that ain't pleasant, but the worry about the negative impact on my dogs heath. And dietary indiscretion can lead to a wide range of expensive-to-solve veterinary problems.I work in a veterinary practice and we have one of these bins in the staff room, It was purchased about 10 years ago after recurrent bouts of pancreatitis in one of the staff dogs - it still looks great and works well.I never paid it much attention until I purchased one recently for my own kitchen - and oh it is such a weight of my mind. The click shut soon becomes second nature and it is such a joy not to come home to strewn yogurt pots every day (my real fear was that she would eat a bit of metal or batterie of something). But, on top of that, every thing else about this bin is just right.It is tall and narrow so fits a small space, but it is very stable. it fits the bin bags really well and is super easy to clean. It is robust and just works really well - it is worth every penny - I strongly recommend this to dog lovers.
