Electric Scooter Hub Motor with Inflatable Tire, 10 inch 350W Rear Wheel Brushless Hub Motor Kit, Waterproof Scooter Wheel Conversion Kit for MAX G30 Electric

I tried to replace a flat rear tire with a tubeless tire. This is a major undertaking. The tire cost was ~ $35. I eventually had to take it to a tire shop to get the "bead" to set and hold some air. At the end of the day the tire never did hold air for more than a day. I was able to replace the entire rear wheel assembly in under an hour and the scooter is as good as new. This is a very simple job. I would recommend replacing the battery cover screws when this is done. They have a tendency to get worn down over time and it can be difficult to get a good hold on some of the screw heads. This is well worth the additional $70 to just replace the entire rear wheel assembly.

Original wires from the motor to the battery are meted plastic caps holding them together so are impossible to remove with out destroying. I had to have a professional connect the wiring because as you can see in my photo they aren’t able to re attach

Unfortunately, the three connectors are much smaller. It does not fit my Ninebot MAX G30P and also looks different from the pictures shown on Amazon. Also, I tried to wire them together anyway, but it still fail to activate the motor, while the original motor can still be activated. I am very frustrated with the results. The seller contacted me to confirm that I received the product, but never provide technical support.

Motor is definitely slower than the original. But it does work. Also make sure and check the wiring schematic details on the site. The phasing is different than the original “Segway-Ninebot” phasing. Wire colors will not match up. Also double check your original motor wattage. This one is 350w and instructions/threads I found said the 500w won’t work without changing the control module.

I replaced the back wheel and motor from my Segway ninebot g30 max. It's easy to replace. You might need some tools and fits in and works perfectly fine. The cable connectors might be hard to spot but it's self doable.

Don't waste your time on this wheel. It will not work.
