These are so much easier than the sachets of loose powder / crystals. You just half fill the kettle, boil the water and drop one of the bags in. Leave it for 10 mins and then empty and rinse. So simple and means no other jugs / containers have to have the solution in which is nice as I'm always a bit nervous with this stuff. Anyway, super easy to use, easy to clear up and a lovely shiny, limescale free kettle again. I've used two now and great results each time. Recommended

I was over the moon when I discovered these. I have struggled for years with products like the mesh balls that are supposed to trap limescale etc. I live in a really hard water area, and my kettle has visible scales after just one use! These are so easy to use - just boil water in the kettle and drop in the sachet and leave for 10 minutes.. and the kettle is as good as new! I was pretty amazed the first time I used it, certainly didn't expect it, but the effects don't last long so it's good that I can buy this product in bulk (6 packs)

The only down side I had was the instructions were so small they are hard to read. The box says see bag for instructions but they are plain white? However there are diagrams on the box. My kettle took 2 goes as it had never been descaled but it came up like new inside after the second application. Also my kettle has a narrow top so getting the used bag out was a bit tricky. All in all they are a great buy. I will order again.

Did the job as advertised although it did take 2 sachets. Perhaps I should not leave it so long between de-scaling sessions in the future!

It does what it says on the tin. Instructions are really simple. It says it contains citric acid which is (sort of) super-concentrated lemon juice if I remember my chemistry.I had a super scaly kettle built up over a couple of years. After one bag it looked pretty shiny but needed two to make it look like new - which it actually does now, at least on the inside.The instructions are super-cautious and say you should only fill the kettle half-way in case it bubbles over as the acid reacts with the limescale. That's very sensible, but for my second packet I filled it to the max to get rid of high-up limescale and everything was ok - no crazy overflow.

This product worked great, it comes in a pack of 6 (hence the slightly higher price) but it’s the best descaler I’ve ever used in a kettle. I’ve added a picture of my kettle which was taken nearly two weeks to the day after I used the product, I just never took a before picture. Our kettle gets used numerous times a day and it was in urgent need of descaling. I didn’t think it would do the job it done but it has!

Having not descaled my kettle since I bought it nine months ago, I didn't think this would work first time. IT DID. Every scrap of limescale removed, looks great. And no awful smell or residue. Very glad I bought a five-pack, as I will be sure to use these every three months as recommended. Great product.

(Particularly the industrial acetic acid you buy in 5l containers) Nope, and this is way more expensive.Pay your money and make your choice. This - efficient, easy to use. Acetic Acid(Vinegar), slightly messy, but much cheaper . Both are as good as each other
