SteelSeries Rival 300, Optical Gaming Mouse, RGB Illumination, 6 Buttons, Rubber Sides, (PC / Mac) - CS:GO Fade

This mouse is very good. The mouse fits just right in my large sized hands due to its long and deep design and it's lightweight and is easy to get precise with.When I first read optical, I thought that it would track poorly but after using I found that not only did it exceed expectations but it actually allows me to lift off the surface with minimal effort which other optical sensors around this price point don't do (unless I just don't have enough experience with them). I play games at 800 DPI and it feels really smooth.I can't tell much difference between the rubber on the original rival and the new soft feel plastic on this but I assume that others might and it will definitely wear less. My rubber has started to wear and I only had it for a few months.However, I am slightly disappointed in the fade finish as it does look a lot better in photos than in person. I was expecting a glossy finish but I got a metallic matte that looks slightly faded (stop it). I also noticed a silver strip through the middle around the mouse wheel where they didn't actually apply any paint. This shouldn't throw you off however because it is still a nice mouse and it's worth the extra tenner to the normal black 300. But if you're not bothered about the finish or the plastic grips then you can get the original rival still for £40.

I had a Rival 300 before, but sold it to a friend, and picked up a Razer Deathadder Chroma, the chroma was a fantastic mouse, but a little too small for my liking, so I was looking to pick up another mouse, and what other to buy than another 300, this time the fade, its easily my favourite mouse to use and can only ever see me going to something like a Zowie because I have an occasional issue with the sensor on the 300.The sensor issue mentioned happens when you make a quick flick with the mouse and the cursor with jolt off to the top or bottom of the screen, and that's pretty annoying when playing CS:GO. I read about changing firmware etc. but nothing has worked for me so far.

Great product, as a mouse it's superb. The decoration however come off VERY easily with the minimalist of things. I wear a ring on my third finger on right hand and has scratched the hell out of it but hasn't on other mouses like this.

A good robust mouse. It's large size would be a problem for someone with small to normal sized hands. The mouse's light colour means it shows the dirt easily and the paint flakes off too easily.

tbh felt a bit cheap quality. Didn't like the scroll wheel felt very cheap. Definitely can find better for the price.However in terms of tracking was very accurate. Was also a decent fit into my hands. Comfortable to play my favorite (csgo lol) shooter with. I guess that's what it's made for.

Amazing mouse! I never knew that the software you need to use it was so complex the colours and the gamesense really make this mouse unique and the amazing mouse straightener setting.The only disappointment is the colour because its more of a matte colour instead of the metallic thats shown in the picture. Its also only 80% Fade as the bottom shows lots of grey,

Steelseries released a driver update that messed with the DPI driver and it randomly changes speed at which it moves

VERY GOOD Mouse!I had a Razer Deathadder which was a decent mouse! But I wanted a new mouse so I got this and I've had it like a month and it's done good! The only bad thing is the length of the wire but it's not a huge deal! VERY GOOD MOUSE
