Ravensburger Aimee Stewart Travel Shelves 2000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle for Adults & for Kids Age 12 and Up

My first 2000-piece puzzle, and it was a little bit alarming to discover how large it was! My puzzle board wouldn't take it and I had to improvise a bit. The size made it a bit difficult to manage the top edge, but only a bit. The picture is excellent and reminiscent of the Colin Thompson cupboard series, where the full puzzle is in sections so you can work on one bit at a time and get the satisfaction of completing a small section before you've done the whole thing. Ravensburger haven't cracked the problem of light reflection, despite claiming their texture is good this way. It's not. Daylight is really the only good time to do these puzzles as overhead lighting at night is very difficult to deal with. The pieces however click into place very satisfyingly and, unlike some other makes, I haven't had problems with putting the wrong piece into place and only discovering my mistake later when the rest of it didn't work out. The colours are bright and clear, and the whole thing was a very pleasurable experience.

Great Puzzle. Pieces are actually quite big for a 2000 piece puzzle which meant you could pick out a bit of detail better. Puzzle is a challenge because of the number of pieces, but a nice challenge for me and my 9yr old daughter. Nice picture once complete, looks good, colours are very vibrant. Worth doing.

It's been years since my Mum and I have shared a Christmas puzzle. We chose this as it had elements that appealed to both of us and it was certainly big enough for two. Alas it was too big for the puzzle board so we ended up with it dominating the dining room table (we found we could cover it with a table cloth!). The level of detail was just right to challenge but not be impossible. There's even a Tardis hiding in the beautifully detailed picture. The book titles are witty also. Think solo might have become a bit of a chore (although I did the lion's share). Usual Ravensburger A1 quality.

Be prepared for needing a large flat area to be able to do the jigsaw, and then have enough space to hold the pieces you need to do it. We tend to have a couple of boards that can hold up to a 1000 pieces each, and are fortunate enough to have a jigsaw table that fits a 2000 puzzle. This jigsaw arrived and when opening the sealed bag containing the pieces we then sort them for edges. After that is done we noted a small amount of bluish dust leftover, nothing exceptional. The pieces are cleanly cut, none stuck together because of a fault in the cutting process. None of the pieces picture separated from the very thick board, great no glue needed. The pieces interlock exceptionally well, no mistakes of pieces in the wrong place for us. quite exceptional, for us, lol. The picture, when completed, is vivid in colour wit ha slight reflective sheen, this jigsaw best being done in a room that has a lot of natural light. The jigsaw is a little expensive, but the overall quality, design of the picture and fun in doing it, makes up for that. The only criticism that we could make..............no poster included..! Even if you had to rely on the box lid only, and tha tis a fraction of the size off this jigsaw, the nfor goodness sake do not have any print on it...! They should have included a poster, especially due to the size of this jigsaw. Overall, a fun experience, a little challenging due to its size, the picture helps as there are enough differences to help with piece sorting. Recommended, if you like the larger puzzles and are happy with no included poster.

Bright vibrant colours, sturdy well cut pieces, a wonderful challenge for a cold, wet & windy girls’ weekend by the fireside. Looking forward to putting it together again soon!

Love the puzzle!! I purchased this puzzle for the Easter holiday, and it is really a success! Everyone is taking their turn, puzzling it together piece by piece. We really love the amazing colours and all the details! It's large! Luckily I bought a plywood "tray" 😀🐣🐥 because this has not been finished in one day! Not to mention Ravensburger quality!

Very good quality, lock into place so can pick up section and move them around. Fairly easy as the sections are so different. Veru much recommend, lovely picture so I'll be happy to keep the puzzle and do it again in the future :)

Magnifique Puzzle arrivé rapidement et en bon état. Je suis ravie de cet achat. Je l’ai terminé en 2 semaines. Je vais le défaire, le ranger et je le referais plus tard, dans quelques mois ou années. C’est un excellent déstressant ! Aux prochaines vacances je m’attaquerai à un puzzle de 5000 pièces. Sa réalisation sera plus conséquente. Je vous conseille ce produit très coloré. Regardez bien ses dimensions du pour pouvoir laisser en place le puzzle sur plusieurs semaines. Celui-ci mesure 75cmx95cm.

I was missing 21 pieces. The bag was unopened and the box was sealed. One or two pieces I can understand but 21????

Bought for my sister in law, an avid puzzle maker. I wanted to give her something a bit more challenging, with excellent art work and construction. A Ravensburger puzzle or game can be counted on. This is not as cheap as some puzzles, but high quality, and for a gift, it perfect
