This is a fantastic cookbook based on the principles of ayurvedic medicine. It contains recipes based on an indian tradition of cooking, but also other cuisines. As well as recipes, there is a wealth of information about cooking equipment, ingredients and also daily life, as well a great introduction to the basics of Ayurveda.This book does not just look at ayurveda and health from the perspective of what benefits the body - it also looks at what benefits the soul. It is a very spiritual book with lots of suggestions on how to live more spirituality for the benefit of your health and also others. A brilliant book.

This book is excellent - it delivers everything it promises, I highly recommend it. The recipies are easy to follow and tasty. The body specific mealplans are a great help. In addition Ayurvedic food is placed into context which helps to understand the principles behind the ideas.
