Product arrived on time and was exactly what was needed to prevent heat damage from my motorcycle exhaust to the plastic pannier . A little stiffer than I had hoped but did eventually , after using a small roller ,take up the compound concave curve and remained stuck .

When I broke the carburettor heat shields for my 44 year old Triumph 2500TC, I found out that none of the usual specialist suppliers stocked them anymore, and I was going to have to make them myself. This stuff looks perfect. I can actually stick it over the broken shield pieces and cut to shape. It will be strong enough to stay still and in shape, and protect the carbs, which are in close proximity to the exhaust outlet manifold. I can’t comment on adhesion because I’ve not done the repair yet, but general quality looks fine.

Used this as a heat shield on my underslung water tank on my vw t5, tank fits quite close to exhaust so wanted a bit of added protection. Easy to cut and mold to shape adhesive seems quite strong, time will tell. Very good product highly recommended 👌

I used this on my TVR Tuscan bonnet as the heat from the exhaust manifold cooks the paint. It worked a treat but unfortunately I fitted it too late as the paint was already half cooked.
