Good little model
My husband and son are really enjoying building this boat. I bought it because my 5 year old was insistent he wanted to build a boat and luckily this one seems to have hit the spot! They've been doing it as and when so it's kept them both busy at odd times. Apparently it's my job to assemble the rigging? Well that's OK, all the rest is done now!

Fiddly but great value and quite realistic.
This is the first time I have tried building one of these kits,I bought two for use with a model railway layout,as I think they are about OO (1:76) scale.For the price they are excellent value,with nearly all that is needed to build them.So far I've only completed this one,as they are quite labour intensive.I completed it in stages,a couple of hours a day over one week.The parts are often tiny so you need good eyesight.The rigging will tax your patience! Threading the cords theough tiny holes is best done using a darning needle.The paint is ok (it's matt though) but be warned if you choose white it will need three or four coats.The cabin windows need to be painted on-mine look too big! Be sure to wash the brush in water between each colour.You may wish to varnish the boat to finish off (not supplied.) When finished it looks good (despite my poor build quality!) and gives a sense of achievement.A lot more satisfying than a plastic kit!

Fun boat to make and good value!
I enjoyed assembling this boat when I had time over a number of weeks. I like that it’s made of wood rather than plastic. It’s the first boat I’ve made and I want to make more now. Its my first model I have ever finished. Instructions are ok, not great but you can work out from most of the pictures where things go. I think it’s good value for the price and a good introduction to models. The only downside is the white paint, it’s very thin and you don’t get enough coverage so I had to buy more from an art shop. I know other reviewers have mentioned this too. This is why I gave it four stars. I don’t know what the glue is like as I used my own wood glue. Overall if you are a beginner and want something to see if you like it with little outlay you can’t go wrong with this.

Blue Dolphin Boat ( Kutter )
Bewusst hatte ich mich für ein Schiffsmodell aus Holz entschieden... Weil Plastik eben Plastik ist ... Sorry Jungs von Revell oder Airfix. Das Modell ist Günstig und ich denke auch nicht zu schwer beim Zusammenbau! Die Bauteile sind gut verpackt in Tüten in wiederverschliessbaren Tüten! Alles vorhanden wie Pinsel, Farbe, Holzleim und Sandpapier 320er... Ösen aus Metall ein kl. Segel und Fähnchen. Die Bohrungen sind ausreichend man muss nicht nacharbeiten. Bei den Aufbauten musste ich nacharbeiten Lampe und Lautsprecher musste ich die Stifte kürzen und weil das Auspuffrohr zu dicht anliegt habe ich Lampe und Lautsprecher gewechselt also von links nach rechts .... Egal ncht so Wild ... Farbe, ja ist vorhanden im Set, aber habe dann doch lieber meine genommen von Pelikan... Die weisse Farbe deckte nicht und die rote und grüne Farbe jooah gibt bessere...Ein Tipp noch statt den Faden der beliegt in ein Nähgeschäft gehen und Gummifaden besorgen. Ich gebe leider nur 2 Sterne wegen der Farbe und umsetzen der Bauteile...

Articolo corrispondente alla descrizione in tutte le sue parti. Anche le foto dell’annuncio illustravano in modo soddisfacente il prodotto. Peccato per la consegna che non è stata veloce e precisa; corrispondente alla data dichiarata al momento dell’ordine. Mi sentirei di consigliare comunque l’acquisto in tutta tranquillità, magari dandosi un po’ più di margine per la consegna…
